Excellent quality doll and clothing, with fun accessories
Packaging: The manufacturer packaging for this doll is fun, with lots of three dimensional details and colors. There’s a side cut out so you can see everything she comes with, even her shoes and socks, without taking her out of the box. Her box is sort of a plastic clamshell style, with lots of tabs, but without a lot of tape or glue, making it fairly easy to open. It’s not the kind of box where you can put her back in the box easily, though, but removing her from the box was pretty easy. She was mostly held in place by plastic ties that could easily be cut with scissors. Her hair was held in place with rubber bands, and naturally she had a couple of plastic tabs through her head. I didn’t cut through the rubber bands so I could reuse them. One of the plastic tabs through her head came out pretty easily, while the other plastic tab had to be trimmed down and pushed into her head.Doll: The color on her bangs is very subtle, and looks like temporary color that might get washed out easily. She had a little glitchy area on her bangs that I immediately needed to trim. Her hair is crimped all the way around, not just in the front. It seems like good quality saran. There was one small clump of gel right in the front, and her bangs are shellacked, but otherwise her hair is loose and soft. Her facial features are well printed, with no wonkiness that I can see. As usual, there was some loose hair in the back that needed to be trimmed. Her face is beautiful, and I love her warm skin tone. Her body is well articulated with full neck articulation. She can look down or up, tilt her head to the sides, and rotate it. In addition to her neck, she has articulation at the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees. She doesn’t have ankle articulation, and her feet are flat. Like the other Dream Besties dolls, her body is made of good quality materials, although it seems a little bit less smooth than the first four. She’s made in Indonesia, and she has permanently molded on panties that are skin toned and say Barbie all over them.Clothes: She comes with a nice little gold bracelet that is open on the bottom to make it easy to take on and off. Her shoes are fabulous with silver glitter embedded in the plastic, so the glitter won’t flake off. Her socks are actually full socks, not just ankle cuffs, and they have nice lace trim at the tops that’s sewn on. Her skirt is made of nice thick vinyl with an attached strap that’s meant to look like underwear. It closes with velcro in the back. The sweater is great. It’s a nice color of aqua that’s less common with dolls, and it velcros in the back. It’s knit, and it actually has the ribbons sewn on, not printed on. It’s hemmed at the bottom and the cuffs, and it’s finished at the neck seam. It seems to be very good quality.Accessories: The accessories were fairly easy to get out of the package. She has a yellow phone that fits into a purple phone case with attached selfie stick. One detail I really love is that she comes with a hair crimper, and she actually has crimped hair like she actually uses it. She also has a comb and a plastic book. She has a cute bottle of hairspray with a removable lid. Her little purple purse opens, but it doesn’t latch closed. It basically stays in place when you close it, but for security, you’ll need to rubber band the purse closed if you put anything inside it.Overall: I feel like this doll is kind of an amazing value for a Barbie. You get a great quality doll who feels durable and is fully articulated. You get really nice clothes with an actual knit detailed sweater and finished socks with lace. Plus you get a bunch of accessories to play with. And if you want to keep her in the box, she looks great there too.

Sunshine and Friendship in One Doll
I picked up Barbie Dream Besties Zia for my daughter, and she hasn’t put it down since. Zia has a really cheerful look and just enough detail to feel special without being overly complicated. Her clothes are bright and fun, and her hair is surprisingly soft—my daughter loves brushing it.The doll seems well-made overall. Zia’s arms and legs move easily, and nothing feels loose or flimsy. She stands okay with support but mostly ends up sitting during play, which is fine for how my daughter uses her.One small downside: the little shoes can fall off and get lost if you’re not careful, but that’s kind of expected with Barbie dolls. Otherwise, no complaints. This was a great little treat and definitely a hit in our house.

Great Toy
MY girls play with a ton of these. Barbie was kind of falling to the way side but when this came out they were pretty excited. I don't get the bigger out of proportion head on these dolls but it's not like Barbie was every realisitic anyway. This was a big hit. Well made toy, cute and good looking like all the other big head dolls the girls have and the extras that come with were a lot of fun to play with as well. This was a big hit for the girls, they mainly got it for the accessories but the once they got it they fell in love with the doll itself.

Fun Barbie
This is a cute Barbie doll that my 5yr old daughter loves to play with. There are plenty of accessories and we love the rainbow hair.

Very cute and fashionable doll
My daughter loves this doll. It’s like a cross between Barbie and the big headed bratz dolls. And it’s super cute. I love the little socks and boots she wears. She is very good quality and her accessories are top notch. She has a selfie stick and the phone can actually be stuck in it and taken out. Just a lot of cute little details.
