Q: What is the height of the connector? i need less than 8mm or 0.315". need to plug in 2 usb3 ports to raspberry pi 4. thick connectors won't work.

I believe they will work, I have used two of the 6" extension cables to connect a pair of Movidius NCS to my Pi4B But Amazon reviews and answers are becoming less useful as they lump reviews for different products of the same class into the page, when the devil is in the details like with the question you've asked.

They had quite of bit of degradation when we tried to use them as extensions for webcams. They were the 20-foot versions, and we thought at the time that they were ordered there might be a problem with the signal losing strength, and we were right. So we returned them. This happened on three different camcorders by three different manufacturers... You may not have a problem with the 3-footer because signals on USBs are usually good to just short of 16 feet. You can give it a try. If it does work, then return it. We've found that quite a few of these sellers of these video products make claims as to what their products do, but when you get them out in the field, they fall flat on their faces.

The connector is connected end to end with about 53cm.
