It's a toaster, (a really nice toaster)
First up, this looks absolutely lovely on the kitchen worktop, as far as toasters go, it's a looker!Second, the rim around the top is a crumb catcher, keeps things nice and tidy, I like it a lot!Third, it toasts really well, and promptly too!Fourthly, it fits a decent sized slice of bread, which is actually ridiculously hard to find these days!As far as toasters go, it's bloody brilliant.

Excellent choice
Absolutely love this toaster, I like the cord is secured underneath the toaster, and it has a removable crumb tray.Finally I loved that the toaster was wrapped in muslin. To protect from any damage.Also it toast evenly, well done!

On the small size
Not big enough for larger sliced bread resulting in the top not getting toasted. Looks nice though.

Looks good but totally unreliable
Have purchased 3 of this model of toaster. The first is 3 years old and still working well. The latest purchases in the last month are total rubbish. First one lasted one day before it started popping out the toast before browning and even on setting 6 it required 3 resets to achieve acceptable toast. This one was returned via Amazon excellent returns service and a replacement sent. The replacement produced nice toast for a week and then started the same problem, ejecting toast before browning. There is obviously a problem with the sensory system. Returned and money refund requested. Will look for another brand. Btw - Which magazine award this model a best buy /value for money category so be warned.

Good but not durable.
Good toaster. The only problem is that the platform holding the toast is made of very thin metal. The last one I had bent and jammed in the toaster after 2 years. Unlpugged and bent it back into shape. After 4 years the metal disintegrated and fell off but managed to pull it out when it was unlugged making it a 1 slice toaster. So overall not a very long life, but reasonably priced. I ordered another as many other makes possibly made in same factory with same issue ?
