Hello from BASE CAMP® customer support, The M Plus mask is the upgraded design based on M mask. The main differences are as below. 1. Upgraded its performance of filtration. Compared with previous one its filters were added an extra melt-blown fabric, which is the important component of N99 mask. 2. Upgraded its sealing performance, much safer. The sealing performance of previous M mask would be weakened after long-term using. The M Plus mask has been strengthened while overcome this disadvantabe. 3. Enlarged exhalation valves. The M Plus mask is 26.3% more efficient in exhausting of heat, water vapor and carbon dioxide, etc. Bring you more breathable and comfortable wearing.

Hello from BASE CAMP® customer support, The thin strap called "AEB System" that can be used to work with BASE CAMP mask, to A- help fix the mask in place without slipping off from your face/head even you're moving; B- to help release the pressure/pain in your nose and ears. Tips: the AEB System can be adjusted to suitable length or position for mask snugly fit your face.

The replacing time of filter for reference: The life expectancy of the BASE CAMP Filter depends on many variables, such as: particulate exposure density, particulate exposure duration and user breathing rate. Based on these factors, below are our general guidelines – as the user will have the final call given your exposure. 20-30+ hours of continuous use in heavy dust exposure to things such as; grain bins, off-roading, construction/demolition etc. 30-40+ hours of continuous use in light dust exposure to things such as; grain bins, off-roading, construction/demolition etc. 50-60+ hours of continuous use when protecting against allergens, pollutants, odors etc.
