Q: Is the filter that comes with this really reusable? And if so how do you clean it?

It’s just the outer layer that’s cleanable.

Q: Can i use this air filter without the "smart" feature? i don't have an alexa and i am not interested in downloading an app for my air filter

You can manually turn on/off the air purifier using the button on the device pannel. You can use our Govee home app to control the device via bluetooth or wifi when you are away from home.

Q: How long does a filter last before needing to be replaced?

I go about 4-6 months - depends on how much dust and particles your house has, whether you have pets as the hair gets in the filter, etc., so it can vary. Sometimes, I will brush off larger particles and dog hair to make it last longer - I have a dog though she doesn't shed much so it's not too bad.

Q: Is this air purifier designed for pets only? I love govee products but dont want to buy if its just for pets only

No. It has a pet lock for the buttons but that's the only pet thing about it.
