Pricey, but you get what you pay for.
This one was a present, but I’ve used the same model for a long time. Pricey, but compact, reliable and durable. The LED light, while durable gives a slight blue tinge to tissue and surrounding blood. This can be compensated for when using it as an exam light, and on the occasion that I used it for illumination to finish a micro surgical case when the light source blew on a Zeiss operating microscope. Not a consideration for most people.

Lasted a year.
Bought back in July of last year. Completely died today. Not worth the money I paid.

light will turn on in your pocket
you have to spend $30 more dollars to correct for a design flaw. the light will turn on in your pocket and drain the battery. surefire says to unscrew the cap or spend $30 more for a cap that prevents the issue. bad design for a pocket light. other than that it’s an incredible light.

Awesome Surefire quality!
Great as always with Surefire! You can't go wrong with Surefire or Streamlight. Remember, friends don't let friends buy cheap Chi-Comm knock offs.
