Fairly accurate detail for a mass production Hot Wheel car
For a Hot Wheels car and for the scale this is actually a pretty accurate model. Other then a spoiler added that to the best of my knowledge wouldn't be factory stock, they got the body right and well done. Some details:1) I haven't bought Hot Wheels to collect or for children in the family in a long while until now, but it did surprise me that the doors didn't open. Are all of the newer cars like this now?2) For those wanting model car because they are an Infiniti G37 fan and/or own a G37, again the spoiler doesn't look like a factory spoiler, but the rest of the car seems to fit the normal bodywork of a 2010 Infiniti G37 Coupe.3) Color, if it was darker would actually almost be "Blue Slate", an actual Infiniti color. But it's much too light for that, call it a light to medium silver-blue I suppose.4) For what it's worth, the steering wheel is on the right side. It does make me wonder if they were initially going to market it as a Nissan Skyline 370GT (what the Infiniti G37 is called in Japan) but decided to make it an Infiniti (Or maybe also sell it as the Nissan in Japan). I think Infiniti is sold in the UK, so I guess one can claim it's one from England. :)Obviously this is a review from an adult collector (well an adult wanting a car that looks like his IRL car) as opposed to a parent of a child. But well, real quick for that, it's a nice Hot Wheel if you're buying this for your kid, it should be sturdy and I'd assume it would work in most of their track sets.
