For what it’s worth this is great. Tastes good not Baalbek good but fair. Jar wasn’t vaccines sealed though but was still fresh

Tastes awful
Very inconsistent quality. I bought 1st jar and it was ok. Taste was not bad, so I ordered a second jar that I just opened now. This one smelled and tasted so bad, I just threw it away. Nothing even remotely similar to Keshk. It was just a discusting powder with a nasty sour taste.

Quality product
I like this powder form of the product much better than the liquid forms. This brand is consistent. I use it for cabbage and lentil soup with kibbee balls. It costs twice as much as the store I used to buy it in charged for it, but since I moved far away from any store that carries it, I don’t really have an option. I do recommend it.

Product arrived broken
I have ordered this product previously and was very satisfied. This time I ordered three jars and one jar arrived broken (shattered actually) other two jars appear fine. I would like a refund of the one jar at $11.97 or a replacement jar. This product is not returnable.

It is not dried ypgurt, it's dried milk, (not exactly the same) but still good!!
This was close to the real thing. Had to improvise just a bit

Updated review: I’ve missed kishk! ❤️ but…
UPDATE 2025: the packaging has changed, it’s hard for me to open and close. It’s also become ruinously expensive - this cost twice as much as the seller has in their store with slow shipping. It’s a good product, but I have to find a different one.Original review:Since we’ve been in quarantine, I haven’t been able to go to the middle eastern market to buy more kishk, and it’s been frustrating. I bought the liquid kishk sold here on Amazon, and it was not so good. The flavor was off. This is a little bit different from the kishk I usually buy - it’s not as tangy, and the texture is much finer - but I found that the finer texture made it easier to work with, and I could adjust the tanginess to the desired level by adding yogurt or lemon. I’m so happy to have kishk again! If you’re curious, check out the videos on YouTube for different ways to make this wonderful soup. It’s easy and quick to make, and good for you. I will definitely buy this again. 😊
