Excellent. So cute. I bought it for a gift for my daughter and she had fun putting it together and absolutely loves it. I would definitely buy again. Shipping was fast, and the item was just as described.

My 15-year-old granddaughter and I had a blast building this Hello Kitty Book Nook together. She actually did most of the work and I was around to clarify instructions, help find pieces, and encourage her when it got tough. And it did get tough a few times. The instructions are all illustrations, which is great, but occasionally they were a little tricky to figure out and we had to experiment to do something correctly. All the sheets of the multitude of pieces could have possibly had an easier labeling system. We used the included sticky strips, but we also got wood glue for some of the spots. When we were done it was beautiful and even the lights worked! Overall it was a wonderful model kit and I would happily do another one again.

This is a great little book nook and if you're into the aesthetic and you're willing to put it together with a little bit of time, I recommend it.This kit is relatively easy to put together and it's got a lot going for it. It's pretty easy to put together (it mainly 'slots' together as the video shows), and the instructions are all pretty easy to follow for anyone of 12+; younger children could complete it but may need some help. It's very cute and it fits well onto any place you can fit some books, and it should look great anywhere nestled among some books, or even just sitting on a shelf. The LED light is also nice and gives off a neat little glow to the whole kit once it's complete, as well!Now, as for negatives... They're minor but definitely worth noting. I can't imagine why the description doesn't currently mention you need 2x AAA batteries to make the LED lights light up, but you do, and they are not included. There's also a weird oddity where the 'BOUTIQUE' is backwards on the right side - if you look at the mirror you'll understand that's so it shows up correctly in the mirror, but that still looks a bit weird if you look at it up close.Needless to say this kit is not waterproof or water resistant, and it's not really meant to be 'played with' once it's complete. You can take the figurine out, rearrange it, and play with it, but I wouldn't really say it's meant to be played with either, though it does look nice.* I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis.* I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review.* I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product.* I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable.* If I get multiple of something it's because I regularly use and need both of them.* And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.

As a Hello Kitty fan, this is a top notch product. It’s very cute and easy to put together. I believe the box describes it for ages 14+, but younger ones can assemble it. It’s more of a decoration as opposed to a toy, so suitable for older children and above. Looks great on my bookshelf. Batteries are not included.
