Anyone looking for longer Ally battery life will be pleasantly surprised with this upgrade, though we'll have to see if any issues arise down the line. For my situation, I ended up wrapping my battery in aluminum tape to help with thermals based on review guides online.On the positive side, the capacity is as rated and I managed nearly 3 hours at 25 watts. Prep-work aside, the battery worked right away after closing up the system and plugging in the charger. I'm thrilled with the results.Doing the replacement is tedious and a bigger battery comes with increased charging time and doesn't charge at as high of a wattage as the stock battery. It's a small sacrifice to be able to get away from the wall. With the battery mod being so new, there are practically no long-term reviews to see if any major issues come up over time. I noticed my device get extremely warm on the back during my first charge, but haven't experienced anything like that since.It should be noted that this is a day two review.

Frankly, installation of this battery pack is a bit of a pain that takes careful effort to make sure it's done safely. Before buying, watch a YouTube video on how to install it, as it's a bit of an involved process. I'm a novice and was able to do it, as no steps are particularly "hard", but you do have to be very careful and meticulous with it to not damage the internal connectors or wiring. With that out of the way, this battery pack is INCREDIBLE. Anyone owning an ROG Ally knows that the biggest pain point is its battery life, and this battery pack almost completely fixes that issue. I've used it for about a week with the new one, and it nearly doubles the battery life. Here's an example.With the old battery, playing Rocket League on high settings at 15W and half-brightness would net me about 80 minutes of playtime. Not long enough for a daily train commute. With this new battery, I'm getting about 2.5 hours (150 mins) with the same settings which is more than enough time for me a day. Dropping down to lower settings and setting it to 10W, and the difference is even more drastic.There is a caveat to installing this battery, and that is that when the device is fully powered off, it can no longer charge at full speed 65W, only 45W max is supported. That means that if the device is completely shut down, charging times will be longer. This doesn't really impact me day to day as I usually keep mine in sleep mode when not in use.Overall, for about $60 this is an incredible value for the money.

Had the replacement done by my tech guy, but this didn't even require calibration for accurate reading. Very, and pleasantly, surprised. Much more comfortable to use now, in terms of battery and (lack of) perceived extra weight.

Kit comes with all the tools needed. The clipper was of great quality and made the necessary modifications easy. Only part that took time was clipping out the backplate. Nevertheless, the process was simple and definitely worth the upgrade.

So far so good, battery is actually 75790WH which is even better then the description says! Will keep updated if any problems occur.

Excellent quality, easy installation you can follow on video, now I have game sessions of 2.5 hrs when playing in Balanced 18W and games in 900p. Big recommendation to place some aluminum protections or kapton tape between the RAM and the battery. I used it for a while without it but did it for extra safe measure. Vendor was quick and delivery was on time. Highly, highly recommended. Worth the extra price to have the protections here in Amazon.

The media could not be loaded. Not sure why but battery started tidying st perceived 20% left now it's increased to 30% when it turns off I'll try another just to see if it was just mines but not sure why.The kit does come with everything needed to install. It also shows Asustek battery on Windows 11 battery Info. However, still had the above issues.
