I received this a few days ago and it has been great at night. Even on high it is not as loud as the box fan I was using. On the lowest setting it is very quite, but air movement is pretty light. I found the middle setting to be just right, quite and moves good air to keep hot sleepers cooler without keeping them up with being loud.

This fan is very quiet on the second of three settings, but moves the air as if it were on High. It’s small in size, but works in my living room better than the larger fan it replaced. It’s well made and doesn’t rattle like my metal fan. It doesn’t rotate, but still move a lot of air around the room. I highly recommend it.

It costs more than the Amazon basics fan with the inefficient shaded pole motor. If you're trying to stay cool, less heat from your fan motor is good, but the difference is only about 30W. This new Dreo 11" model with 7" fan blade 5" depth is $10 less than the older 12" model with 7" depth and a deeper fan blade plus ball bearings. This model stops spinning faster, and the air spreads out faster. The 12" model has more concentrated airflow. Both fans are made so they can be opened for cleaning, instead of replacing. This model adds a handle for easy pickup, and the speed control is easily reached behind the motor. A good choice for a 11" tall ac powered fan. The base is 5.5" deep x 6.5" wide can be prone to tipping back if placed on a soft surface like a cushion. A 9" diameter piece of signboard mounted on the base prevents tipping on soft surfaces. 9" is the same size as the base of the 12" Dreo fan.

As advertised, this fan is extremely quiet. It is so quiet that it should have an indicator light to remind you that it is running. I bought it to replace an old Honeywell fan of a very similar design. The Dreo moves a lot more air and draws 42% less power because it has a much more efficient motor.I have two minor complaints. The tilt angle has very loose detents every 30 degrees. Because the airflow direction is so precise, the detents should be every 15 degrees and much stiffer. The detents on the speed control knob are too stiff, making it hard to turn.When a fan fails, it is usually because the Oilite bronze bushings have dried out and the shaft has seized up. To fix any fan, take the motor apart, clean the shaft and bushings with solvent, add new oil to the bushings, thoroughly clean the fan blades, and put it all back together. It will run as good as new for a year or so. But eventually, after doing that several times, the bushings will get loose and very noisy. Since the Dreo has a better motor, I'm hoping it has better bearings too.

Great 3 speed fan to cool smaller room & very quiet. Quality fanthat cost me a little over $30.00. Not a lot bells & whistles (doesn't rotate & no remote and tilts up to 90° manually.) Puts out good air flow for it's size and first two speeds are very quiet.

I purchased this fan as a circulation fan in a crawlspace area. The advertised benefit of strong airflow is one of the key criteria for me. 20 mins ago the item was delivered (atta boy Amazon) 18 hours after I ordered it. Perfect delivery I would say. I opened the box and put the fan through it's paces so to speak.Pros-- The fan is quiet. It sits on a good and stable base, there is no discernible vibration. Smooth is a good word to describe the operation.- Appears to be well made.Cons- Not as strong as I expected- The sellers claims are too lofty. It is quiet but not 28db quiet. There is nothing turbine about this fan.Overall I would recommend it for a small to medium size room. Based on the attention to assembly detail my expectation is that this will last for several years.I rated 3 stars based on my assessment today. If the fan outperforms my adjusted expectations I'll be back to update my reviews and star rating. Would I buy it again? I need to see how it actually performs over the next few months. If it does well I'll buy another one.

These are nice fan, it is quiet and moves a fair amount of air for their size. A good value for the money.

Ultimate quiet fan! Perfect for the end of a bed or facing a recliner. Multiple power options. We use the lowest setting and that puts out enough power to work perfectly in the room. Compact size, and easy to adust direction. I was thinking that this one came with a remote, but it did not...that would be the only thing that I would probably change on this.
