I recently purchased the BESTRANS Step Up Transformer 110v to 220v, and I wanted to share my experience with it. I had a really nice appliance from Europe that I wanted to use here in the US, but of course, it's designed for 220V while our standard here is 110V. This transformer seemed like the perfect solution, and it really has been! The 3000w capacity is more than enough for my appliance, and it feels very heavy duty and well-built, so I feel confident using it. The pearl white color is also quite nice and doesn't look out of place in my home. It's really simple to use - just plug the transformer into my 110V outlet, and then plug my 220V appliance into one of the two outlets on the transformer. It works perfectly! My European appliance is running smoothly, and I'm so glad I didn't have to get a new one just to use it here. If you have appliances from Asia or Europe that you want to use in the US and need to step up the voltage from 110v to 220v, I would absolutely recommend this BESTRANS converter. It’s a reliable and easy-to-use solution.

This step-up transformer is perfect for using European appliances here in the US. It's heavy-duty and well-built. Also, the capacity is more than enough for my needs. The two universal outlets are a great feature. It's easy to use – just plug it in and connect your appliances. It's a reliable and convenient way to use 220V appliances in a 110V environment and opens up a world of possibilities for trying out different appliances from other countries.

This step-up transformer can convert voltage from 110-120V input to 220-240V output that allows using Asia Europe 220-240V appliances in USA, Canada or Mexico. The power of this transformer is up to 3000W that is capable to run high power appliances such as hair dryers, iron, hair straighteners, coffee maker or some power tools etc.The transformer is in pure white. It has high quality, durable and exquisite case with round corners and compact size. My previous 1500W transformer is bigger and thicker than this. Although it is compact, it is quite heavy and weighted about 7 kg. It may be the weight of the heavy metal coils and the sturdy casing. There are convection vents on both sides for heat dissipation and each side has a universal outlet with multiple plug holes. The power button is on the front side with LED indicator for easy control and observation of the operation status. In fact, this transformer also allows upright placement because its power cord is set at one side instead of its back where 2 suction cups are added for upright standing purpose.For vertical placement, the power button will change to the top that is still easy control. Moreover, one side with power cord may become the back where a constantly use appliance can be plugged into this back outlet for better and tidy appearance. The other outlet in front is then reserved for occasionally use devices that can be plugged in/out easily at the front. I prefer this flexible design of this transformer. In addition, the heavy weight of the transformer together with the suction cups can fix it securely on table or countertop. The suction cups are quite strong in sucking. Once fixed, I need a thin ruler to insert at the bottom for releasing the suction cups first and then move the transformer to other position.

This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as the weight indicates the presence of a substantial transformer rather than being a lightweight gimmick. It’s a solid, well-constructed product, especially for the price of around $100. However, it’s not travel-friendly and is best suited for home use to power 220V devices purchased outside the U.S.The device outputs 224V at 60Hz, which works well for most applications. However, if your device requires 50Hz, which is sometimes paired with 220V, this could be an issue. That said, it functions reliably for me, powering both a large TV and a coffee machine without any problems.The design is simple and clean, featuring a single on/off button and two powered outlets. It’s also worth noting that the packaging was excellent. The device arrived extremely well-protected, better than many brand-name products I’ve purchased. For a generic brand, this level of care in packaging was a pleasant surprise.

We used it on a 900w, 240v, 50hz Indian chapati maker and it worked perfectly. It doesn't do hz conversion, but for the maker with no moving parts that's not a huge issue, rate of heat increase and max temp was a bit higher, but nothing crazy.Additionally, step down converter had no trouble with our 900w load (it's oversized, but that is the recommendation for things with heating elements) and did not trip our teeniest circuit breaker.

I had no clue this was going to be as big and as heavy as it is! I got this to use for a 40watt lava lamp that I have from overseas. Completely overkill for such a small lamp...lolI thought I got the wrong item at first when the amazon driver handed me the box. It was so heavy!Sure enough this thing is built very stout! You can easily plug in heavier duty items into this without worrying if it's going to work or not.So far, my lava lamp is fine on this, and this does not produce any annoying humming sounds!
