Cheap card stock and the cut pieces of memorabilia look like they printed it out and cut it up and glued it to the cheap flimsy card. The card doesn’t describe what the literature is/was from. I mean I got something TYPED from Genghis Khan?! What from a book ABOUT him? From a dictionary? Looking through a lupe, the handwritten one looks printed not hand written

The good part is the presentation of the card box. Nice looking box and each card is individually wrapped. Makes it exciting and fun to open. The problem is nothing says what the relic is from. Is it a document they wrote? A document they owned. Really not sure the back is a generic message.The cards themselves are a fairly thin stock either 23 or 35pt maybe. If you are used to relic cards from sports cards these are much thinner than those more like a base card with a piece of a cut document glued to it.Maybe rare hits are a little more interesting in the description, cardstock or embellishments. That I can't say since what I pulled seemed to be the base of this set.I wasn't sure if these deserved a 3 or 4 star because of the nicer presentation. Most of the time with trading cards the base cards in a set are usually not amazing. I settled on 3 stars for a few reasons. I think for the cost these cards they could have had either better stock, come encased and/or a more detailed description of the relic.That said they could make a fun gift for a history buff but the lack of description to connect the relic to it's history might fall flat.

I love pieces of the past but they must have changed manufacturers after 2023. The cardstock in the 2024 and 2025 lines are like printer paper and the overall documents are way worse. If you are interested in these look into the 2023 line and you can get some really cool stuff, But this product is not the move.

Little crazy…first time buying not worth the price. Should say where the relic is coming from would enhance the product so much.

I was expecting a bit too much I guess and I have mixed feelings about the 'relics' I received.I got 2 cards, one with Washington and Lincoln and another with Cornelius Vanderbilt. They're simply standard-sized trading cards in plastic packages in a fancy box.I got 3 'relics' (one for each person depicted) which are small squares which appear to be cut from letters or some other old documents. They're about 1" square (maybe a bit less) and there's nothing to indicate what they are. The relics for Washington and Lincoln have handwriting, but not even an entire word and the one for Vanderbilt just looks like the border of some sort of document. (Is it even their handwriting?)This bothers me because there's no documentation of what they are and it appears some historic paper was cut up to make "relics" which don't have any apparent historical significance other than being glued to a trading card.
