A First Course in String Theory Hardcover – 22 January 2009

This is one of the most student friendly books on the Advanced and Difficult String theory. It started from Minkowski's spacetime and then started introducing extra circular dimension and then goes on. With this book alongside with String Theory and M-Theory by Becker-Schwarz will be a good combination to start learning the one an only THE STRING THEORY. For advanced course, one can switch to Superstring Theory by Green-Schwarz-Witten.

This book is amazing. I like this good. But the book I got via Amazon was a bit old with brownish pages and a bit torn on the corners.But a book is a book so I do not bother about the page quality that much
