long pause
Completed build only yesterday, but so far this no frills board has completely met all expectations. The 5600 memory read 5100 in the bios but I wasn't planning to overclock anything so that's satisfactory. Just wanted the capability. Have always had ASUS boards but their z790i seemed like overkill, especially if not overclocking. The ASRock board was a little slower starting Windows than I'm used to. I thought it wasn't reading my keyboard when prompted to "press any key". I kept checking my bios to make sure everything was in order. But I just had to wait it out longer than expected. Otherwise, no glitches.

Good motherboard but lacks some features
With my Asus z790i Gaming that had a dram issue in one dimm slot I decided to try out the ASRock PG Z90i. Let me tell you it does not disappoint. It ties into the sff theme without being too beefy like most itx boards are now. It has very solid power delivery stages and can hit rated ddr5 speeds out of the box without binning a board. ASRock has came a long was in the mobo scene. If Asus continues in the direction they are going ASRock will be my go to board mfg. Overclocking, undervolting, and overclocking ram are straight to the point in the bios. No onboard LEDS. Its a fantastic board. I'm going to miss LGA 1700.
