Easy to sprout even for a beginner!
I purchased the 5lb can. I soaked the seeds over night in a cup and then would pour them out on a plate (sometimes I would use a unbleached coffee filter on top the plate ) and would just keep them moist (adding water about once a day). My bird loves the sprouted seeds and my dog will sometimes take a few sprouted seeds too ! My only hesitation with buying it again is my bird only eats the millet and leaves the rest of the seeds alone. Great product !

Good mix for sprouting
The name pretty much explains everything. We found this mix to be very easy to sprout and all out 11 birds like it. We also mix in some organic red wheat from Handy Pantry for a more complete mix of sprouts. We just soak the mixture overnight, then drain and let it sit at room temperature for two to three days. It has a very good rate of sprouts. Once the sprouts are big enough we store the batch in the fridge and it stays good until the birds have finished all.The 5 pound can, together with a 2.5 pound bag of red wheat lasts a long time and is definitely a good deal. So if you have parrots give it a try.

I sprout this for my bird
I don’t personally eat it; I sprout it for my conure (bird) and she loves it. It is a lot, so I do keep it in the freezer and take out what I need to sprout. It always looks good and sprouts quickly, guess I need to taste it myself!

Not at all what I was expecting!
The description of ingredients was definitely not what was in my can. There was a few sunflower seeds, some millet, and several types of legumes. My chickens and all the wild birds I toss it to will not eat any of the legumes. It was a very expensive waste of money. Plus it came in a box with no padding and the can was all dented. It made it near impossible to open and it broke two can openers….. 😠

Mostly Millet
Unfortunately it's mostly millet...wish it was full of more nutritional and smaller seeds for parakeets

Can came in dented AND not eligible for return
Makes me think twice about ordering this again. The can was received damaged and dented, reason for removal off of physical store shelves.I tried to return/exchange but found that it’s NOT ELIGIBLE. Now I’m stuck with it and not able to return or exchange.

Excellent quality. My birds love it.
My birds love this. Not only is is nutritious, but I had several birds who would not go into breeding condition. After feeding them sprouted seeds every other day for about a month, they went into condition and just hatched beautiful chicks.

My green cheek conure loves it. I pick out ...
My green cheek conure loves it. I pick out alot of the safflower?sunflower? seeds because by the tone everything has sprouted a bit, those take up quite a bit of volume. My chickens get those. Three millet does seem to struggle to sprout at all...which may be a millet thing or a my can thing? Im hoping its just a millet thing, as I some how ordered two five pound cans.
