Fast and reliable, does a great job
I had thought of giving the Creality Falcon 2 four stars. This is because I couldn't get it to work with my mac and I had to purchase a pc, an additional cost. Mine did not come with a honeycomb bed, which I had to buy separately. But this is no big deal as other brands I know of do not offer this either. And I had previously bought two different brands and got disappointed.I love that the machine framework comes pre-assembled. And it comes with an air an air assist. One headachy thing out of the way right off the bat. The instructions for installing the software can be a little challenging. But once you get this down you're good to go. The work I'm getting is nothing short of awesome. This is what really matters. This is why I gave it full five stars.Couple Things to Keep in Mind:- The flash drive that comes micro memory card reader you need to connect the machine to the software (I use Lightburn) may be outdated and therefore not work on your computer. This was very frustrating for me. You may have to buy a new USB memory card flash drive (3.0+).- It kept stopping in the middle of a larger job. Wasted precious material in the process. The "help" page was no help. I resolved this by setting my computer sleep option to "Never".Still, a very good machine.

I have a new favorite hobby
I got the Creality CR-Falcon Laser 5W as a starter laser engraver/cutter, thinking if it’s something I get really good at, I can always get a higher powered one later. I got the one that came with both the honeycomb and aluminum sheet, plus and was preassembled. Totally worth the extra investment. I’ve only been using this two weeks and am blown away by what I have created so far, both with engraving and cutting. I really bought this just for cutting purposes so that I could cut pieces of wood for making dollhouse furniture as I am a miniaturist. Looks like I’ll be using it for a lot more! I’m using the LightBurn software and have watched loads of YouTube videos learning how to use it. Once you get a hang of the software, you are in business. As again, I’ve only been using it for two weeks and have already come this far! (I chose to set parameters for cutting out all of the cut shapes.)

Fun to use
Laser works great, this is my first one and I love it! I've been using an open source app (LaserGRBL) to run the laser. Biggest challenge is the earning curve for the software, not the laser itself. I've had a few special orders to laser etch items for customers and they were totally satisfied with the results.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS!
This is not beginner friendly. It took us days of consistently trying different things to finally get it to work. We played with it a couple times, but then stopped using it (realized we did not have many things to create). We tried to use it again maybe a month or two later. It would not communicate with my PC. We tried different programs, all of which said they did not see an engraver attached to the computer. I tried to talk to support, but they are in China which made communication very difficult to understand. They tried to assign a ticket, but it was not worth the hassle after I spent an afternoon telling them that everything they suggested to do to fix the issue I had already done to no avail. Save yourself the time and the money and purchase a laser engraver that is probably more expensive but will be easier to use. The last information that I was able to understand was that I needed to try a cheaper or not-as-new USB connection. Not sure how that was suppose to be possible. DO NOT BUY.

Seems good quality so far.
So far it seems ok. The two programs that came with it to download were quite different. The trial for Lightburn was way too complicated for me. I finally got the LaserGRB to work ok. With some practice it should be ok.My old laser came with a built-in program that was very easy to operate. I'll miss it but my older laser was just that, too old.

Typical 10W frame laser. Good quality build - 6 stars but only allowed 5
So I purchased this laser to use it with another Atomstack item, the R5. I alredy had a 10W laser and didnt need a second one. Howere due to misleading product ad I had to purchase this laser to use my conveyor.Shipping was on time, arrived in good shape. Upon assembly its almost identical to my other laser. Pros:Software Contorllable air assist port, screen port?, wifi antenna... Safety glasses are orange tint, which makes it easier to see than emerald tint. Preinstalled air assist nozzle. Multiple software options.Cons:Wifi antenna, screen port - nothing in documentation about these, not sure if they work or not.So to the technical side of review. Standard Frame build was reasonably simple, all pre assembled pieces were tight and in good tolerances. On the laser its a "fixed" focus, which is problematic for using with R5 conveyor. You have to make a few changes to your maxhine for it to work. The slide on the laser needs to be longer to accommodate using this accessory. Motion seems fairly smooth, steppers are relatively quiet. Laser shielding at busness end is adequate. Comes with a preinstalled air nozzle for air assistRating based on:Functionality as expected= +3 stars,Safety equipment : +1 Star,Focus depth: -1 star.Nozzle: +1 star,Available accessories +1Summary: Standard Frame Design, easy to use but you have to learn it, multiple software options, Medium value for this price point. Great first laser, with many accesory options available
