Good fit for my needs
This was a perfect upgrade for my compressor which only had a pressure gage and moisture trap. Now I can have a regulated air pressure of 20psi for my airbrush. One note: I had to use an o-ring to ensure a tight seal of the pressure gage in a face up position; without that o-ring, the gage was timed to face downwards at full seal.

New and improved
My previous Master water seperator developed a leak at the water drain valve. The old drain valve rusted. This replacement appears to have stainless seals. However, the new version still uses carbon air line connectors that will rust internally.

It works. Pretty sure it's BSP threads and not NSP.
Pipe threads are governed by two sets of standards: National Pipe Thread (NPT) and British Standard Pipe (BSP). These standards stipulate the types of screw threads used to connect and seal pipe fittings together. The NPT standards are divided into two categories: National Pipe Tapered (also NPT) and National Pipe Straight (NPS). Likewise, BSP standards are separated by tapered (BSPT) and parallel (BSPP).Tapered threads use thread sealant to archive a seal where as straight (or parallel) need an O-ring or a gasket to create a tight seal.NPT/NPS and BSP threads are not compatible due to the differences in their thread forms, and not just the fact that most sizes have a different pitch. NPT/NPS threads have a 60° angle and have flattened peaks and valleys (Sellers thread form) where as BSP threads have a 55° angle and have rounded peaks and valleys (Whitworth thread form).Pretty sure this regulator is BSP threads. America's 1/4th" NPT/NPS threads have like 18 threads per inch. 1/4th" BSP threads have like 19 threads per inch. So depending on how you are using this regulator, you may need O-rings or thread sealant to make it work. I used standard American NPT 1/4th" air fittings with lots of teflon tape and it worked ok.I plug the regulator into my air compressor, then my 50' air hose, then my airbrush hose plugs into my 50' air hose. That allows me to get far away from the loud air compressor. Enough threads screwed into the regulator to make a good seal for me.

Leaks!!!!
I bought this because it was cheap. Sadly, it had a huge air leak in the water separator/drain. Also, the air flow valve would not adjust. Package was open but sealed in an Amazon bag when I received it.

Less expensive alternative for Iwata compressor repair
The air pressure regulator (APR) on our Iwata Smart Jet Pro IS875 compressor died. We took it apart and discovered that the small brass nut that rides on a metal stud in the cap, had cross-threaded, not allowing the cap to adjust the pressure any longer. The OEM part was about $80. Although I did have to slightly enlarge the hole for the APR top to fit through, this part did fit and works great. I did try the Iwata air pressure dial on this APR, but it was too small to see because the position on this APR puts the dial just a half inch below the viewing hole in the case. Using the slightly larger dial that came with this APR, made it easier to see the pressure setting. On the outlet side, since I needed 1/4" male for the air hose, the APR hole was also 1/4" male, so I had a 1/4" male-to-male brass fitting that worked great. For airbrush, I usually am using 10-15 psi, so I don't change the pressure often. It regulates the pressure just great and I would buy it again.
