Note that this isn't a lipstick or a lip gloss: it's a lip stain. I like using lip stain because I can layer something (or nothing) over the top of it to create whatever finish I want, and I know the colour itself won't budge. This is particularly useful for an evening out, when I can wear lipstick over the top of a lip stain and know that even if the lipstick wears off during a meal, there is still colour underneath. During the day, I can apply lipbalm over the top of it if I want a sleeker finish, but even by itself, this shade looks great - a deep colour, but with a fairly natural appearance on my lips because it doesn't conceal my natural lip texture.I applied this as I usually would, by applying a careful layer, waiting 30 seconds or so, and then blotting it off with a tissue to leave just the colour behind. Once blotted, there's no stickiness, no residue, no build-up, and it lasted all day, even after washing my face with my normal cleanser. Removing it required some effort (and a proper make-up cleanser), which is exactly the staying power I want from a lip stain. I'm delighted and would happily buy again.

I will be honest for a 'drugstore' product this is a really nice lip tint. Applies really well and has great pigmentation. I found that it doesn't last very long and if you reapply without removing whatever is there it tends to clump and crumble off which can get really messy. It can be sticky when you apply it on and it isnt very moisturising so you will need to prep your lips beforehand.

With medium coverage application, this was neither sticky nor drying, but rather a comforting and flexible velvet feeling. My lips felt supple and like they were being treated but the look is velvet satin colour pay off that I haven’t seen in anything high street before. There is no remarkable smell, it lasts well and doesn’t budge or smudge once set. I let it set then buffed some away with a cotton pad to leave a tint for school run and martial arts training. This means I look a little more together and helps ease my self-consciousness about my double lip line. I’m excited to try it at blush next. Great value for money, I’m already looking to collect new shades for different seasons.

I was excited to buy this and loved the colours. Had a big evening out and was looking forward to using it. I made sure I followed the instructions (applied and waited for much longer than suggested which was 15 minutes).This felt awful on my lips. I prefer lip tints as they’re usually less sticky or greasy on my lips as I don’t like that. This feels like a gloss from 10 years ago. Very sticky and uncomfortable. You can literally see my lips peel apart because of the texture. And it wasn’t transfer proof either, I could see it in the side of my glass after an hour of applying it.This is just an overpriced lipgloss. There are lots of lip stains out there that actually do the job, but this isn’t one of them.You also can’t get a refund, so it was a total waste of money, because it’s gone in the bin.

Applied it in the morning before work, after 4 hours I ate and it still looked good, after 6 hours you can see it in the first picture (sorry for the warm light) on how it wore off. Now my lips look dry af on the second picture where I reapplied it an hour and a bit ago.It is quite drying, don't like that, so occasionally I applied a lip balm that helped out with the dry feeling and it didn't really come off. But it dries nicely, has a lovely colour and lasts quite a bit, just a shame about the really chalky-feeling effect, and a bit sticky effect- that is quite of a turnoff.

I love this tint

not a fan of the texture, it has a mousse like feel to it and sits on top of the lips uncomfortably. feels like those old school matte lipsticks that last for a few minutes before sliding off because of the texture. maybe it was just the colour i bought but it was not a tint and didn’t last long, could be wiped off with a tissue without leaving any colour behind. also easy to smudge which a tint shouldn’t be.
