I bought 2 different UV flashlights and conducted an experiment to see if price made a difference on how the a UV flashlight. This one was my least expensive buy. The other UV flashlight was 5 times more. I purchased it because I needed them to activate Transition lenses in glasses I bought for a video I was doing. I made sure that both flashlights had a rechargeable cord, looked similar as far as weight and height. Both were black as well. They also claimed they put out the same wavelength of light. Both functioned like they should and emitted the spectrum of light it said on the box-UV. They both were same size only difference was the price. So this flashlight is the winner and if you’re looking to cut costs trust me this flashlight will work just as good as a more expensive one. It seems to last a while on one charge.

This little portable light is amazing. I use it while traveling to verify cleanliness of the hotel rooms I stay in. Nothing like thinking you smell something, only to get a denial of your concerns. Size is perfect and the recharge ability is outstanding

I bought this flashlight primarily for detecting cat urine and also as a nail polish dryer. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations in either case.Cat Urine Detection:For spots where I can clearly tell by my nose that there is cat urine, the flashlight doesn’t seem to highlight it very well. I’m thinking I should’ve opted for a floodlight or a wider lens flashlight instead.Nail Polish Dryer:As for drying nail polish, it’s OK but not very practical. You need to find a way to hold it upright to free your hands, otherwise, you’re always going to have to hold it with one hand, limiting your ability to multitask.Overall, I would suggest considering a floodlight version if you need it for similar purposes.* update: customer service was excellent and refunded me for my dissatisfaction and suggested me the specific kind i need for urine detection which is 395 kind i gUess.

Bought this to look for scorpions. It definitely worked. It would be nice to have an adjustable beam as it's a narrow beam, so you have to really point where you want to see - a scanning back and forth to cover ground. It also shows spilled fluids, dirt on hotel sheets, and all kinds of things you wish you could unsee. Don't look at your hotel sheets if you arrive late at night and are tired. Definitely makes you get out the Clorox wipes! In fact, I recommend adding a few containers of wipes to your cart to go with this light.

This flashlight is well-made, substantial, and rechargeable. We are very pleased.

It definitely works, its very bright. Perfect hand held size. It's not cheapy.My husband purchased this to see where my cats are spraying. Don't buy this unless you want to see every little dust spec. It's a love hate for me, this light makes every stains not visible to the eye, appear.

We black light for minerals and rock and these are much nicer quality than our last disappointing purchase. Thank you. If you are looking for a legit quality black light, this is it

All the old cat puke spots show up on the carpet. While we spot cleaned after the incident, there was still a lot left. I hope this will help with the cleaning process.
