I prefer this to my Herman Miller chairs, and here is why...
I prefer this chair over both of my Herman Miller Mirra and Mirra 2 chairs. I have owned the chair since the holidays, use it every day, and I am qualified to say we have been lied to by the industrial and media "chair snobs" ;-) that suggest gaming chairs are inferior for office work. I was so convinced by the typical online narrative that I never would have even tried a gaming chair had this one not advertised a 'keep cool' feature for not over-heating during long gaming (or office sitting) sessions. In addition to being sturdy, comfortable, offering 4 way adjustable arm rests and feeling like a premium product, the chair does keep me from getting hot as the seat materials do a good job of not absorbing heat. As I write, it is winter in Texas, so I am happy to report the cushion is not cold either. It is simply a neutral fabric. The cushion itself is reasonably thick, though the newer model is slightly thicker. The seat is quite large with a lot of room for longer legs and height (though I am 5'11). It feels somewhat firm, not a cushy as I might have liked, but it feels like it just gets more comfortable the longer I sit in it. I love leaning back in it and putting my feet on a foot stool or the desk. If I wanted I could lean all the way back and take a nap. though, I have little reason to do so, as I work from home and can easily go to the sofa if I need a quite siesta. I have two cats, so its nice to know the chair has "scratch proof" fabric. So far, so good on that front. In comparison to my Herman Miller chairs, this one tops both of them in comfort and (in my opinion) ergonomics all day long. The Herman Miller is a cold seat, which isnt great for winter, and not even great in the summer, because with the A/C on it just feels cold and hard. It doesn't have a full head rest, and there is about the same amount of space in the seat for the torso. Even at the full MSRP, this chair provides so much more value and comfort than the Herman Miller, that I am disgusted to have misled so badly by what I have read online. Lastly, this chair looks nice on camera in my meetings. It is professional, adds a splash of color, but doesn't in any way seem unfit for an executive. One more thing, I love the lumbar which stays in place as you slide it up and down to fit where you need it. This works better for me than the knob you turn to adjust lumbar in the Herman Miller. My only complaint for the chair is minor. The pillow is so full and puffy it serves almost no purpose. I find I only need a pillow if I want to lean back and browse or game. For that purpose I bought a pillow that Razer sells and added a bungee cord so I can take it on and off. I hope my review helps dispel the notion that office chairs are superior to gaming chairs, irrespective of the maker.

Super comfortable! Both the seat and backrest are amazing for me.
I am coming from a secret lab titan chair, and I've got to say, this one absolutely blows the titan out of the park, for me at least. With the titan, the seat was WAY too firm and whenever i'd put my back on the chair, I could feel some kind of bar digging into my back. So I was honestly pretty hesitant buying this chair reading how most chairs are made by the same manufacturer and just rebranded or whatever. I think I'm a bit odd when it comes to chairs because I don't really look for ergonomics and good posture, I mainly just want to sit in whatever position I want, and be completely comfortable. Anyway, I just went on a whim buying this, and 100% don't regret it. Also, in no way am I saying that this chair has bad ergonomics. It comes with the lumbar support, which is actually really neatly attached to the seat (can be removed) and can be moved up and down. I don't have mine on, however, just because I am more comfortable without it. I am super satisfied with the seat cusion. I don't feel any metal bars or anything when i sit down and it is not too firm. The seat is also pretty wide too so if you want to sit cross legged, you totally can. I usually sit with one leg under my other and it is super comfortable. When i lean back on the chair, it is well cushioned as well, nothing digging into my back. Even if i try pushing my back into the chair, i feel nothing but cushion which is amazing.I'd say the only complaint i have about this chair is the headrest. I tried using it and it was just too hard for me, I just swapped it out with my secret lab headrest/pillow though so it's not too big of a deal.So yeah, this chair satisfied the 2 things i was worried about the most when looking at chairs. The seat is cushiony enough for me to sit in it all day and not have my butt hurt. The backrest is comfortable to sit back in. Also it's not $500 so there's that too. I'd say give this chair a shot if you're looking for comfortability like i was!

Comfy, but too high - FIXED
Received the chair three days ago.Assembling the chair took about 30 minutes, using an electric impact driver with an Allen wrench bit. Assembly using the provided multi-tool would probably add another 30 minutes to assembly. The only step which I found confusing, was Step 2 in the instructions. It sort of shows the attachment of the armrests in this step, but not clearly. Attachment of the armrests needs to be finished prior to installing the handles on the tilt mechanism. The chair is extremely comfortable for most tasks. The only drawback to this chair is that the lowest setting of the chair is higher than the usual chair. The armrests do not go low enough to fit under the edge of my desk, and the height of the seat makes driving with a wheel and pedals feel like every car is a truck. (This cost one star.)The previous aside, this chair is very comfortable. Both the seat and the backrest are a very firm foam, giving a comfortable yet supportive surface, similar to a car seat. The seat fabric is of a seemingly high quality, and the PU leather on the back looks natural. The tilt mechanism operates smoothly, and the included lumbar and headrest pillows add to the comfort.EDIT: I solved the height problem; it's the wheels. I replaced the oversized wheels on the chair with wheels from a "retired" office chair. It doesn't seem like it would make a significant difference, but it did it for me.TLDR: Very comfortable, but an option for smaller casters would make it almost perfect.
