I've been using 5 htp 200mg three times daily for awhile with somewhat moderate results from a different company. This one however is way better for me. I don't take this for sleep, it's to help me with anxiety and overall irritability. My family's noticed that I don't seem as on edge or as abrupt/impatient. I definitely notice I feel better. Things don't get to me as much and in general I feel better. So at least for me, this is finally working out great and I hope the formula doesn't change.

This product caps are small and easy to swallow it. I using the product every day 3 Caps. Work's great with Gaba for my appetite issue and tryptophan for better sleep.

Honestly I'm very satisfied with this stuff. I was a little skeptical at first but after the first week I started to feel more positive about life. As someone who took high doses of SSRIs for years and then decided to stop, my serotonin levels crashed over the course of a year leaving me with terrible anxiety and depression. Although I know 5-htp doesn't affect everyone in the same way I can honestly say that it is helping me to have more of a positive outlook on life and it also slightly reduces my anxiety. Yes you have to continue to take it but in my opinion it's better than being on sertraline as this is more readily available, more natural, and cost effective. I've only taken 200mg a day for a week and a half and I feel a difference already. I would recommend this to anyone who is struggling with an imbalance, give this stuff a shot before having to take prescription meds that the doctors seem to want to push on everyone.

I wasn’t feeling like the last brand of 5HTP wasn’t helping like it was I read all the reviews and I’ve found this one works better than the rest.

I decided to try these due to the information I found online that stated 5-HTP helps serotonin increase and decreases appetite. I noticed pretty quickly that they did indeed help with appetite. I was not nearly as hungry and stayed full for an extended time. I would not recommend taking them on an empty stomach, because it did cause some stomach issues. But overall, it did help improve my mood and decreased my appetite.
