I buy this every year and was so pleased to see they've ditched the plastic holder for cardboard. I enjoy a new image daily and being introduced to new (to me) artists.

I love these calendars - most of the wonderful images give our day an artists boost. (Allowing for some not being to everybody's taste)This new stand, however, is not so good. I don't doubt there are good reasons for changing from the old plastic stands - which held the pages in security - to this new cardboard and paper design, but the new stand is not so stable, and once the worst happens, and it slips, you can end up with all the loose pages all over the floor.

This calendar is beautiful and I enjoy the artworks every day. They really bring a smile to my face! Why I have taken a star off is because the new cardboard stand is terrible. It is now very wide and flimsy with a magnetic bit that holds it together. It cannot fit any longer on my windowsill. Another thing I dislike is that the date on top is no longer bold and large to stand out. It sort of merges into the background. It’s a calendar after all so I need the date to show up big and visible! Just lucky I kept the good size plastic stand from last year! Not sure I will be buying it again.

These are beautiful reproductions of mainly paintings, some of which I do not know. A fascinating way to present a calendar.
