Not the cheapest option, but this thing is very rugged/ solid. I have verified that it is waterproof by charging in my driveway in the rain. Typical Dewalt build quality. This thing will probably outlast my vehicle. I highly recommend this product for mobile ev charging.

Works perfectly. The extra 2 feet of cord makes life a lot easier. I don’t have to precision park to get close enough to the outlet.

Didn't work right out of the box. Unit was defective which is very unusual for Dewalt products. Sent it back for a refund.

This charger is constructed very well. The connections are solid and secure. The charger module is no nonsense plug and play. Don't be fooled by chargers with timers and other features as that just makes them prone to hiccups or errors.The first time using it was seamless and it just works. In my setup, I used a nema 10-50 electric range outlet with an adapter to 14-50 female receptacle. In between that adapter and the charger is a 14-50 30 foot extension of 6 gauge wiring.On a warm day there is no sign of the wiring getting warm at all.The charger runs at 7kwh to charge my 38kwh battery in about 6 hours.The carrying case is decent enough if not just a little small. I worry about leaving it in the car in plain view as the black and yellow DeWalt branding might prove tempting to a thief. :)I'm very happy with this unit, 4 stars!

DEWALT has built robust tools over the years, and this charger isn't any different. The tough design is solidly built and withstands daily use-even rough handling every now and then.The dual charging capability is incredibly versatile. Equally fit for both Level 1 (120V) and Level 2 (240V), this charging station handles anything thrown its way. It also works on both 120 and 240 V, charging fast at the first setting while also being available at the standard plug-in settings common in public. And another big win: compact, light, and thus easy to pack for road trips, or just stored in the trunk in case of an emergency.The other nice feature is its safety. Knowing that it passed CSA certification really helps give me peace of mind for reliability and protection from electrical hazards. This charger is real easy to operate with clear indications that make use very simple, even for an EV newbie.Charging performance has been flawless, providing a consistent and reliable charge every time. It works perfectly with my EV, and I’ve noticed it’s faster and more efficient than other chargers I’ve tried.Overall, DEWALT did not disappoint with this exceptionally durable, versatile, and safe product. If you want a premium-class electric vehicle charger in which you can have confidence for its long life, then this is a purchase worth consideration. Oooooh, this charger is so well made. Dewalt is a leading brand for a reason, and the quality between this portable charger the more affordable off brands out there is noticeable from the second you look at it. This is clearly top quality.It charges quickly and efficiently. It will probably last me until it no longer fits any car I may have or the technology is updated. This will be a one time purchase and be done with it type deal.I do wish it had a screen that gives pertinent information such as charge time, which is pretty standard these days, but I can live without it.
