My son is picky when it comes to certain things and he prefers to have the option to be able to remove his shin guards when playing soccer and these shin sleeves allow him to do that. I like that these come in a 2 pack so he can wear a pair for practice and the other pair for the game and I don't have to necessarily hurry up and wash them. He is 10 and although these are a little loser than what I wanted when he put the sock over top they're fine.

These are not what I needed for football but they would be appropriate for shin guards. I was hoping to get something longer to cover that gap between football pants and cleats but they are not that long. They are thin and cool and would fit well over shin guards for youth sized athletes. Easy to wash and can be thrown in with normal wash. I did not dry them just air dry. Worth the money if you buy them for soccer but description included football. They are easy to slide on and off and my son did not complain that they were tight or uncomfortable.
