Dear reader, sorry for how I write reviews. I write them like I am talking to a friend.I live in a hurricane area and every year I have been getting more and more prepared. This year, I decided to get a way to communicate with family in multiple towns and states. All within the US. These looked good and I said, let me try. I ordered 4 units (2 sets of 2). When they came in, each set would work between them, but the 4 didn't talk. All I had to do was ask the sender and they said send in the information for each, and they connected them for me. Now all 4 worked.I first tested them in my house. Worked great. Played with them a bit to get to know them better. Very nice with test 1.Second test, my other half works in a food store two towns away. As she drove, we talked without any issues or dead spots. She checked in and the talked to me from inside one of the walk-in freezers. Still worked great. Successful test 2.Next test is talking to in-laws three towns away in a high rise condo. I am expecting they will work there as well. The last and final test will be multiple states away, that will take me sometime. I will update with other test results.We can keep them on the charger 24x7 according to the manufacture. Good news, because I want them ready if needed during storms. Once you start playing with the settings, they are easy to work with.So do I like these? Yes, I think they are worth the cost, great features. EXCELLENT customer service. OMG, customer service is amazing. Only item I found to be a little lacking was the documentation. I'd like a full document for all the settings, and simple explanations on how to create your groups. But that is is, otherwise, I do recommend these.

My car club uses communication devices for our road trips. Initially, we used FRS radios, but we have since upgraded to a new type of device that is truly impressive. Once you add the radio to the group, communication between devices is seamless and offers nearly unlimited range for our road trips. The standby time for the device lasts several days, and with heavy usage, the battery can last multiple days as well.Although it takes some time to get accustomed to navigating the device's interface, it is fairly straightforward. One important thing to remember is to not lose the ID card that comes with the unit, as the codes on the card are essential for setting up groups and accessing other useful functions. Additionally, the audio quality on these devices is outstanding.

Purchased two of these to communicate with the wife on one of her trips. Hundreds of miles and flawless operation. Great audio quality and plenty of volume. Over 3 days ON without having to charge, but that of course depends on how much you transmit and receive. On my trip to Ohio was able to communicate to my wife back in New Mexico with no problems. Liked the first two so much that I purchased two more. I was thinking that I could go online and set up the four to work together, but that is not the case. No problem, I contacted the seller and gave him the two "company account #s" that came with the two different pair of radios, left the two new radios turned on so the seller could see them on the network, and went to work. When I came home that evening, all four radios were sinc'd up and working together. Absolutely wonderful and great customer support. Can't speak highly enough about the product, and the seller/customer support. Amazon said these are a frequently returned item, but I will never return mine. Keep in mind they work over the LTE network, so where you don't have cell coverage, they may not work. These radios are so much more convenient that using your cell phone or apps on your phone. More than worth the $. You will not be disappointed. I'm think of getting more to give one to my aging parents, who are in there 80's now I need to check in with them regularly.

My father was recently diagnosed with having a glioblastoma or brain tumor. The biopsy left him with little control and coordination of his left side body and blind spots in his left peripheral. He was placed in a physical rehabilitation center over 1 hour away from home. He was struggling with using his phone and we needed to find a way to be with him when we weren't with him. I found these and am so so so grateful I did. Set up was easy (I don't think I even needed to do anything but turn it on and charge it!) And my father was immediately able to use it. The buttons are easy to understand and use, the clarity is impeccable and loud and they worked over 1 hr 15 min distance! He can now call or talk whenever he needs to and the battery lasts a long time. Everyone who sees how well they work from the rehab nurses to family members are so impressed. He's coming home soon but I'm buying two more anyway because they are just way easier for him and they can connect together. Now my siblings and I can support my mother when my dad radios her 5 times a night 😆 thank you for the solid product, I couldn't put a price on what you have given to the family.

Currently sitting in the parking garage of The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, talking to my mom, on a walkie talkie, at home, on the other side of town. She said it sounds like I’m there and she sounds crystal clear. Amazing!I’m excited to use these and I’ll probably get more. Going to test the desert hiking areas of Southern Nevada and report back.Customer service is responsive and provides assistance getting them set up, just have to message. Easy to manage on the website. I renamed two units and made a private group quickly. Good quality units. Super cool!

These walkie talkies are AMAZING!! We purchased 6 of them to stay in contact with our 87 year old mother, because using a cell phone became challenging for her. My mom loves talking with us over the walkie. The range is very far (all the way from Jacksonville to Atlanta). Very clear reception. Long battery life. The best part of my experience was when I called the company directly for help. Customer service with Global PTT was PHENOMENAL!!
