9/10 would recommend
Nice sturdy feeling knife, razor sharp out of the box. The axis lock is tight and the opening was stiff, but those are easy to fix. High quality for the price!

I like this little knife 👍🏻
Nice little knife good material. It feels good & fits nice into my pocket, now it’s a small knife. It’s not your usual thing, but it is super sharp and nice looking.

Sooo close to being 5⭐️...
I wanted to give it 5⭐️, but there are a few things holding me back, the most notable of which being that blade pivot screw. When these knives are being assembled, somewhere along the line, somewhere in the final process, someone KNOWS that those pivot screws are being tightened WAY beyond their usefulness, and they're being allowed to leave the factories like that anyway. Good quality T9 Torx bits aren't exactly the easiest size to find, and when you do find them, they're almost always one of the stupid tamper resistant type, or you have to buy a set with four or five other sizes. I snapped two of them and twisted another before I was finally able to get that thing to turn. Three Torx T9 bits ruined before I was able to finally get it loosened without damaging the fourth bit.The next issue concerns the wimpy jimping on the back of the blade. It would be better to not do any jimping at all than to do that, or preferrably, make it far, FAR more substantial and do it on the frame halves and scales. The last issue regards the butt, the lanyard hole, and the pocket clip. If the frame and scale pieces were shaped a little more traditionally, this could have been a full deep carry and could have still had a lanyard hole; not necessarily THAY lanyard hole, but a much smaller one.For the most part I really do like this knife. Once I was able to crack that pivot screw loose, I was finally able to get it opening and closing much faster and with almost zero effort, as well as having zero horizontal or vertical play in the pivot. The axis lock spring is a bit aggressive, but it's still easy enough to pull down and secure the blade. The blade was nice and sharp, straight out of the box, and it's holding its edge very well. This is also my thinnest knife, and I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not, but even though it doesn't go as deep into my pocket as I'd like it to, it's still very comfortable, and when I do need it, it's also very comfortable in hand. Overall, I really do like this knife, and if it wasn't for that blade pivot screw, in spite of those other drawbacks, I probably still would have rated it with 5⭐️.

704 Back Up When Needed!
This is a nice knife for keeping handy when I misplace or or don't want to use my typical EDC knife for a project. This knife hits on all the right attributes, size, mechanism, build quality and materials. For the price I expected at most a knife in a plastic bag stuffed in a cardboard box. To my surprise it comes with a nice zippered case and a cleaning cloth, a couple of stickers and a lifetime warranty! The only cons are weight and width, but to lose that you'd lose some of the sturdiness of this blade. I will buy several of these for my friends who don't know the convenience of EDC!

If I could give 10 stars I would
Great prices for a quality knife. Flicks open smoothly and razor sharp out of the box cuts plastic and cardboard all day and still cuts

Solid EDC Knife with Great Quality and Style
Really impressed with the build quality and sharpness of the 704 Gear Fang. It feels solid in hand and functions great as an everyday carry. The design looks sharp too—both in style and blade—and I like that you can switch the pocket clip to either side depending on your preference. It did take a little breaking in before the blade flipped out smoothly, but that’s pretty normal with knives in this price range. Overall, a well-made, functional EDC knife I’d definitely recommend.
