This laptop was delivered in excellent condition, and in a timely fashion. Although I have not had the opportunity to use it very much, I did downgrade it from Wildows 11 to Windows 10 and will ultimately use it as a Linux machine once MS ends Win10 support. I like the design and engineering - fine screen, responsive trackpad and fairly small power block. This Dell laptop has 16GB of RAM which, along with the price, sealed the deal for me. From what I understand, the CPU in this laptop is not among the fastest in this particular Dell product line. However, in my experience if there is a bottleneck limiting performance in this class of laptop, generally it is the amount of RAM. I work with relatively large vector graphics files and I have no plans to incorporate AI into my workflow. With 16 GB of RAM, I expect this laptop to meet my needs for numerous of years.This is the third refurb that I've gotten through Amazon in the past few years and, in each case, the results have been outstanding -- great price, timely delivery and no problems!

As a remote worker heavily reliant on multimedia office products and frequent Zoom meetings, I've found this refurbished Dell laptop to be a surprisingly robust and reliable companion. It has seamlessly handled my daily workflow, proving itself more than adequate for multitasking.I've even put it through its paces with more demanding tasks, including some astronomy editing programs, and it has largely kept up with the challenge. This speaks volumes about its processing capabilities and overall performance, especially considering it's a refurbished unit.The primary drawbacks I've encountered are its tendency to heat up a bit more than anticipated during prolonged use and a battery life that isn't particularly long. For a remote worker who might not always be near a power outlet, this is something to consider.Despite these minor issues, I wholeheartedly recommend this product, especially given its price point. The value it offers for its performance and utility is excellent. If the need arose, I would certainly purchase it again.

On the whole I am satisfied with this refurbished laptop. But one thing is not working properly, that is the volume control keys do not work at all. However, the volume seems set at what i'd call medium, so I can for instance listen to a youtube video, but cannot even turn the volume off. Still, it is not a big deal for me as when I want to hear music I do so on my sound system. I briefly considered sending the machine back to Amazon but I'd just as soon skip that hassle. Mostly I use the laptop to read the morning news and do google searches, and all that works fine.

Seems to be a quality computer.
