First off: these smell. It's not terrible and the smell goes away once you close the bag, but they do have an odor. Like cornmeal and vitamins. BUT, I have given my cat a few of these treats after something she saw outside spooked her. She continued to stare out the window - but she was less vocal and obsessive about it. I also give her a few treats at 4am when it is definitely not breakfast time. This is the first calming supplement I've ever tried for my cat and I am so happy with the cost and apparent effectiveness. I look forward to purchasing from this brand for the rest of my cats life. I have noticed, however, that while these treats don't make her "high", she does plop her butt on the floor much louder after she has some treats. I also witnessed her fall over when playing (new for her).

Our cat developed some kind of itchy allergy after a move. We had been taking her to the vet every few months to get a steroid shot to stop her from licking herself bald. It was awful. I bought these on the hope that they would work and it's been almost like a miracle!She no longer licks herself to the point of being bald and having red patches of skin. The best part is that she actually eats these willingly! She is a picky eater and she LOVES these. We've been using them for several months and plan to keep buying these. I love that we don't have to stress her out with a drive in the car to the vet anymore!

I've tried so many other calming products. Melontin drops, expensive air diffuser. But none of them worked as well as these treats. I found my kitten abandoned as a 3 week kitten in a park. He did not receive enough mother/sibling interaction as he should . As he grew, he became a biter although he was very affectionate. Sometimes, biting me as I slept! Always needing playtime and would pace nightly , it leaves me feeling uncomfortable and he seemed anxious. These calming treats have helped when I give them close to bedtime. There are still moments of anxiety, but not as often.

My cats actually like these treats. Every other “special” treat I have bought they would not even try so it was great they like these. I do really see a change in my bully cat. He does not pick on my other cat near as often, and when he is restless I give him a few and he stops pacing and wandering. I have tried lots of “calming” cat products that did not work but for my cats this product does.

We have a beautiful 4 year old calico who was feral. She has come along beautifully in our home has been rather recluse but sociable with us. When there is change in our home, she pees. This behavior started 2 years ago when my mom became ill and I was gone for long hours. She would pee on my clothing. When mom passed and we were moving furniture in and out, she would pee on flat surfaces. A while ago I was sick and she was so distraught. I laid on the floor and she howled, so I laid on the guest bed and the next day she peed on the bed. Unsure what to do, I reached out to a local who rehomes cats. We just didn't know what else to do. She recommended these treats and a comfort zone calming collar. I am pleased to say, she has turned in to a loveable, talkative beauty and the problem with peeing seems to have disappeared. She loves her treats, asks for them and I give her 5 in the am & pm. If you have a nervous girl like us, give these a try, they have transformed our lil Hattiemae.

My anxious kitty doesn’t like the taste as much as another brand, which is weird because this guy eats everything. I don’t find the calming effect any better or worse than the other brand, which isn’t saying much with this guy. Both calming treats help him a little, enough that those living with him notice, but an outsider would say it has zero effect.

All I can say is I have a deaf kitty, & she has big emotions about it. I wasn’t sure what to do about her constant vocalization, so I tried these. Let’s just say, THEY WORK.She loves the taste, & after about 30 minutes I see a change in her behavior, that ultimately just makes her sleep, but she seems happier.Would recommend, & will be purchasing again.

My cat loves these and they really make a difference, she's not itching. I don't know if they are supposed to help with her poop, but they do. Her poop is now softer and larger, had been hard rabbit sized before. I get these monthly for her and missed one month and saw the difference. I'm on subscribe and save now so she won't miss a month again.
