Q: What size bulb does the bottom light take? a review said to use 1157 led's but it doesn't fit.

I tried the 1156 and couldn’t get it to work

Q: Does the bottom part of the light ever turn on or is that just a reflector? I can't seem to find photos where it is on.

From top to bottom. Reverse, running light, turnsignal/four-way, running light, brake light. Reflectors/smaller running lights on sides

Q: What is the box in the third picture labeled "rt265"? how would it connect into everything else? thanks!

I ordered these and they do work/fit my 2014 focus se hatchback. I believe the box is for the sequential turn signals. It's the only thing that comes to mind that makes sense. I would suggest, if you get these, that you take one of the lights with you to advanced auto to get the bulbs you need.
