i tried these out against several other brands with the same power rating, and they won hands done. they are BRIGHT, and do their job perfectly. for the most part, they are also incredibly quiet, though the fans do vary slightly from unit to unit. i have one or two which are noticeably louder than the others, but even those are quieter than the high dollar "name brand" pars i have, as well as being brighter. nice and light weight too. there is no dedicated "white" channel, but when evenly matched on the RGB channels, i really don't miss it, especially with the brightness i mentioned.i definitely prefer the full rgb versus colour mixing type of lights too, so finding this quality at this price was a no brainer. yes, i wish they weren't hard wired for power, but if you are somebody who takes acre of their stuff, this shouldn't be a big issue. i bought several boxes of these, and will post a pic or two once i have them fully deployed, but as of now, having tested each one, i am VERY happy with this purchase.

The OPSSK 36W UV-A Blacklight Bar (16"x1.5"x2.5") with mounting brackets and a (2.5' (42")) attached power cord, works great for small glow applications such as illuminating a wall that has a poster/picture on it. I bought this lightbar to light up a framed hand drawn picture and it worked well. I liked the effect even though my particular picture was not made with fluorescent paint/colors. I am sure that it would be much more stunning if it had been. It lit up the whole wall and that part of the room. I would not recommend this blacklight bar for large area applications.

If you are using a venue tetra controller ($120 from guitar center) they are very capable of working quite well with this system. You have to use them in 3ch or you’ll have no lights on a channel. They perform very well and I really like these light, they are super super bright and great for a starting dj. If you’re just starting out like me these will work with quite a bit of different auto lighting controllers like sound switch and the venue tetra controller. I like both but the venue one is much easier

It took about a year of off and on use, but both of the UV lamps I bought here are now dead, both within 1 week of each other. It's funny because I bought these two to match one I bought from a friend. They look the exact same as far as build and even have the same box, but the one I bought from a friend has a slightly different color tint and is still working. There is clear planned obsolescence at play here. Don't buy these.Edit: After posting this, the seller contacted me and offered a refund for my purchase of both lamps. I appreciate that and it means I bought them at no loss, so I've upgraded my rating to three stars instead of one.

I ordered one of these a while ago and it worked great however after months of continuously being on it gave up. I ordered a new one but it didn't come with the brackets. Luckily I had the previous one so I could switch the brackets out otherwise it would have been a pain to use.

I bought this based on reviews to use in my classroom glow party. I had never purchased a black light before, but I bought this one because many people said it was very bright. I definitely recommend this to use for a glow party. My classroom is about 25 feet x 20 feet, and I think 2 of these black lights would have been plenty bright enough to get the full effect. I didn’t screw it to the wall; instead, I just rested it on top of my counter and it was very stable.
