Excellent Saw for Precise, Clean Cuts
This Japanese saw exceeded my expectations. The blade is extremely sharp and cuts effortlessly with great precision. The pull-cut design gives you more control and cleaner results compared to traditional push saws. I used it for a woodworking project with a lot of repetitive cuts, and it stayed sharp the whole time. Lightweight, comfortable to hold, and perfect for DIY work. Highly recommended.

Great Tool! Efficient, Durable, Super Sharp
Makes tough cutting easy. The magic is in the thin-ness of the blade, and how the proper cutting angle is built into the (flared) design. Saved my workpieces and hours of work. When you get it started and let the saw do the cutting, the blade sort of sings and makes a whispering sound like you're cutting through paper instead of hardwood.

Awesome saw, for the money
This saw is very sharp. It is capable of making glue ready joints, if handled correctly. I was very pleased with the materials, as well as the fit and finish of the parts.

Exactly what I hoped for
Same day shipping. This is not the best Japanese saw on the market but a solid choice for the price. I am very happy with the purchase. It helpef me finish a delicate and expensive wood project. Super sharp. It holds an edge. Highly recommended.

Do not believe the 'flush cut' claim.
This is a cautionary review. This hand saw, like many similar Japanese pull saws is marketed with the claim it is a "flush cut saw". To me, this is a claim that with this saw. I should be able to cut a wood dowel flush (or near-flush) to a flat surface and expect that post-cut surface to be undamaged. Don't believe this claim.The saw arrives very sharp and seemingly ready to use right out of the box, and it looks simple enough to use. But for 'flush cutting' situations, don't expect to get good results immediately. Do not. Making this saw work well for you requires practice on scrap parts to learn the correct 'hand feel'. Getting good results requires a light touch. Without that 'hand feel', pull saws such as this will leave unwanted cut marks on the wood surface you're trying to cut flush to.
