Picture quality looks very good. Switching channels feels responsive. Not as sensitive as my old Zenith controller when it comes to receiving signals from faraway channels, but the picture quality on this new controller makes up for it. Feed this into the HDMI input on a Fire Cube, and you will have a 4k image via 4k upscaling.

Our rooftop antenna works fine, but our TV's coaxial cable port doesn't. We plugged the antenna into this device and plugged the device into an HDMI port on the TV, and we're up and running. I couldn't get the remote control to "learn" how to control the TV, but that's not really an issue. And we haven't tried some of the more advanced features, including recording. Still, this is doing the job we wanted it to do.

It worked

I was excited to replace the box I've had with this little device. I couldn't get it to work. I reached out to their tech service h who is overseas, so you have to wait until overnight to get an answer. I did everything they said. They had me take pictures of how I had everything plugged in and said it was correct. But it still didn't work. After several days of trying things they asked me to do, it became agent it was faulty. I returned it and bought the tried and true brand I had before (iview). The iView brand was set up in minutes and has worked fine.

Work as expected.

Seems to work well as an HDTV tuner. I was given a monitor screen that didn't have a built-in TV tuner and this seemed like a cheap way to get over-the-air TV from my antenna. Plugged it in, turned it on and it found a bunch of TV channels. Picture is about as clear as can be expected and dependent on what signal your local station is broadcasting. Electronic program guide (so I can see the name of the show) is a plus. The device seems a little sluggish though, there's a small delay in changing channels. Have not tried (and honestly, will probably never try) the DVR functions. I was excited about the advertised "learning remote" but what's not clear is that only FOUR buttons on the remote are programmable (power/TV-AV/volume up/volume down) so that part is almost completely useless.Edit:Downgraded from 4 to 2 stars. I didn't notice this at first but now I see it constantly and it's super annoying. The audio and video are not synced up and does not seem to be a way to adjust it. The video is slightly delayed from the audio so it's like watching a bad lip sync ALL THE TIME. It does this to all channels too

The first use was simple to configure channels, but the instructions are poor for learning how to record. The limitations on size of thumb drives is disappointing and the USB connection is not very stable.

I have slightly older flat screens that do not have digital tuners. I also have all tv audio going through the stereo in the trailer. this tuner works great for that setup.
