This thing makes great coffee with the absolute minimum input needed from the user. I bought it to replace my Hario Switch after the glass shattered and I much prefer it. Sure it's not as versatile but it's the perfect brewer for work/travel and since it uses aeropress filters it's incredibly cheap to use long term.The only issue is that the base is quite wide and rounded at the edges, this means it doesn't fit on my coffee cup properly without some careful balancing so I'm going to need to buy a stand of some kind. If the manufacturer adjusted the design a little and put a series of concentric steps in the bottom it'd be easier to balance on any mug/cup.

This coffee maker is truly disappointing.It’s marketed as an “easy brew,” but it’s far from it! I followed all the instructions, but when I grind the coffee, it flows back through the filter, which is not ideal if you prefer a fine grind size.Considering the price, I would rather consider the Orea V4.

I would say that it’s perfect for the morning breakfast routine. You just fill the outer part with boiling water. While the coffee is brewing, which takes about 5 minutes, you can use that time to prepare the rest of your breakfast.The taste is smooth and rich.This hoop thing definitely extracts more flavour than aeropress. Also, looks like the aeropress filters fit the hoop as well.
