This is not an air conditioner, it is a fan with an optional atomizer (mister)
This is not an air conditioner as advertised. It is a fan. You can put water in, and it will make a fine mist you can't see it or feel, but it does provide a VERY slight cooling feeling. This is not an actual air conditioner and will not combat strong summer heat.I had the atomizer on for 5 minutes and water droplets started to accumulate on the unit. I don't know if it will begin to leak onto my desk or cause an issue later on, but since I'm trying to make-do with something in this price range, I'm just going to hope for the best.

Personal cooling fan
The media could not be loaded. This is a small cooling fan and not an air conditioner. You can put ice and water in it which just makes it blow cooler air. Last about 8 hrs but ice doesn't last long.It is loud but I use it on my night stand which basically only blows on my head and neck area. This works for me because I like fan white noise, keeps my upper body not so hot while I fall asleep, and provides some humidity in this very dry air of Las Vegas. It is definitely not an air conditioner, as described. But is does have 2 control levels for the humidity, I think 5 fan levels, and different colored LED lights to choose fromwhich I use as a night light. It meets my needs but I don't think I would buy again.

Don't Recommend.
Update 8/6/24: I am reducing my rating from a 4 to a 2. As another reviewer has pointed out, THERE'S NO WAY TO CLEAN THIS FAN. In the 2 months that I've been using it, it has become filthy - the worst being the water collector reservoir at the bottom. There's no way to take this apart. I've been getting headaches as soon as I'm next to it, so I don't think this fan is hygienic in any way. I really don't suggest this fan at all.I was looking for a small portable AC for my bedroom and took a chance on this. It's lightweight and includes a sturdy strap to carry around. I've moved it back and forth between my bedroom and bathroom a few times as they both lack fans/ac (old house) and it has helped cool the room off a bit.The good: I like the mister quite a bit. It isn't terribly loud, is effective on even the lowest level, and best of all the mist is so fine it doesn't spray water all over everything. I have this issue with my humidifier in winter, so I was very pleased with this. It takes a standard USB-C and includes a decent sized cord. There are a lot of color options and the fan is fairly powerful. The front grid can also be adjusted up/down to control the air flow (it does not go left to right.) It has a timer feature but I haven't used this. The bad: I tried this model specifically because other folks said it was quiet. It really isn't. It's not jet engine loud, but even on the lowest fan setting it is louder than my Levoit air purifier on medium. I am pretty sensitive to noise at night (I prefer silence) so it's taking some getting used to. I'm keeping it on the lowest setting almost all the time to keep the noise level low. It might be nice if you like white noise, since the sound is kind of similar. Now the product description says the mister has an auto shut off. This is half true. You don't hear it running when it runs out of water, but if you don't manually turn it off it kicks back up as soon as water touches it. I was worried I might damage the motor when I realized this. Second, the water tank accepts less than a standard bottle of water, and it runs out pretty fast on the low speed, about 6 hours. The other mild annoyances I have is that the power button is a push button only, so if I turn it off with my smart outlet, I can't turn it back on without manually hitting the button. Second, there is a pretty significant light shining out of the fan even without the backlight turned off from the LEDs on the buttons. All in all, it's okay I guess. I don't think I will buy this model again, and I wish it had been cheaper for what it is, but I'll keep it.

It’s not an A/C unit
It would be idiotic to assume a 35 dollar fan with some water sprinkled into it can be an A/C unit, it is NOT an A/C substitute. But, it surely beats only just a small table fan. With the expectation adjusted, it works great strictly as a table top cooler blowing towards your upper body in a hot summer make-shift office. It does make a bit of noise, and louder with misting activated, but it is a fan, fan moves air, moving-air = sound, it’s not unreasonably loud, if you are marginally sleepy you will pass out with the fan humming away. Water does accumulate and slightly drips down the front vent, but those water is not anywhere near electrical components, so that doesn’t bother me. I would use water from drinking machines instead of straight tap water to minimize calcium deposits in the water nozzles. A 16oz bottle of water is enough for 3 hours of use on misting option 1. (1 out of 2 water nozzles activated)
