Q: The hand gesture feature no longer works. Is there anything i can do to fix it? Ive tried updating drivers and disabled and enabled device.

On the backside of the base is a little slider that can be used to change the distance at which gestures are recognized or disable the feature altogether. Make sure that you did not accidentally disable the function. Should this not help, you are always welcome to contact customer support through the form on the support section of our official website.

Q: Does this come with batteries?

The Torch Mic does not have an internal power source, instead it receives its power through the USB connection to a PC. Therefore, it does not come with or require batteries.

Q: Could this be used to record a band? Like guitars or drums, bass, vocals? Would sound quality be garbage or would it be decent?

The Torch can be used for recording instruments or a band. The ideal mode to choose for such a scenario would be the stereo mode. Make sure to set up the Mic's gain properly before recording by using the 3.5mm jack of the base and enabling the "Side Tone" function in your PC's sound settings to monitor the recording.

Q: If I attach the microphone to a boom arm. Could i still use the stand it came with for volume control?

You would have to. This is why the packaging's contents include a longer version of the cable to connect base and microphone.
