Great buy.!
Best $30 I’ve spent. It’s small enough for 2 cups of oil and a good descent amount of fries or mozzarella sticks.

Only lasted one day.
This little fryer only lasted one day and cooked one batch of french fries. The next day the light turned on, but the oil never got hot. Sent it back for a full refund, very unhappy with the purchase of this item.

Great size
Never had a fryer before. This one is a great size for small batches. And it's easy to store away. I had to do some frying over the holidays and this worked perfectly. I used so much less oil than I would have in a pan. I let it cool poured out the oil and just wiped it clean. It was so much easier than I expected. Happy I got it even if I pull it out once in awhile definitely a great value for the money

It's... almost great.
I like the size. I like the basket. I like the ability to hook the basket up over the oil to drain. It's easy to use and perfectly storable in the spot I made for it on top of my fridge in my small kitchen. I wish the oil reservoir was removable for easier cleaning, but I can live with that.It really is almost exactly what I was looking for. Here's where it really fails, and (other than safety), it fails in the most important way. It does absolutely NOT get as hot as it says it does. There is no way, unless you put another heat source in it, that this thing is EVER going to get even close to 375 degrees, which is the highest setting. It's not even going to reach 350.I wish I'd returned it as soon as I realized this failing, but I liked everything else about it so I thought it would do for foods that didn't require as high a heat level for frying. Now, after too many small batches of soggy, floppy, greasy food, I don't want it and I think I'm now stuck with it.Sadly, after reading a LOT of reviews of other mini fryers, they either don't heat enough or they melt their outer casing, so I'm at the end of the road here with this type of small appliance.12/14/24 I am amending my review and giving it a third star. It still isn't exactly what I want it to be (makes weird creaking noises when heating that don't sound exactly safe) but I have a crappy coil apartment stove that has been fighting my best efforts since I moved into the place. So I decided to try it again and put some numbers on this one:Fryer empty got up to 142.6 FThen dropped to 316.5 F before the heater kicked in again. That was empty. It got down to 305 F before kicking on when I put chicken nuggets.
