it does the job well when in action (suction power), especially with the compatibility across several Dyson models. The innovative design, including the lighting feature, is a plus, enhancing visibility while cleaning.However, it's a bit of a letdown when it comes to the plastic near the hose area the plastic is weak and tends to pop out which I have to pop back into place. It can be quite an inconvenience, having to pop parts back into place during use. Durability is key in vacuum accessories, so this might be something the manufacturer needs to address. For a quick fix, maybe a little DIY reinforcement could prevent frequent dislodging? Regardless, the head works well overall despite this, even if it does require a bit of a hands-on approach now and then.My star rating is based on the design, overall length of life I expect to get out of this for the price. Other than that it does work on par with the OEM brand roller.

I have a Dyson V15s Detect Submarine​. And, I use the Fluffy Optic Cleaning Head the most. Therefore, even though mine is still only about a half year old, when this came up for a review, I grabbed it.As you can see from the attached photo, they are not quite the same.1) The original Dyson is slightly smaller; in width, height, and in length.2) Also the roller inside; is larger on this replacement head than the Dyson original.3) The replacement does not have the two blue fuzzy pads on the back. But, does have the blue fuzzy line, on the bottom side.4) The shaft of the replacement is thicker and also slightly longer.However, in attaching and in function, I cannot tell a difference. If this replacement head is better or worse, it has to be a nominal difference. One I can't determine, other than the original will get you under furniture, with about 1/3rd of an inch less clearance.Therefore; It all comes down to price. Which is less expensive. There; the Dyson original is slightly more expensive, but there are other aftermarket replacement heads, that are cheaper, quite a bit cheaper. But, I have not tested them, so I cannot say if they are as good as this one & the original.

Instead, it broke down prematurely, and I'm left feeling like I didn't get the value I paid for. Easy replacement and fits perfectly on a V15. It's slightly bigger in all dimensions (less than an inch), but functionality is equal to the official Dyson head. The light works well, although doesn't have quite the range of the original. Suction power isn't lacking, and we can't tell a difference there. Feels well-made, and sturdy.

I have both a V15 and a V8 and this replacement fluffy is similar to the V15 Optic Soft Roller Head. I used it on the V8 and vacuumed my porcelain floors, was able to get under sofa areas and seats, and much like the optic light on the OEM version for the V15, was able to see particles of dust to ensure I went over it. The pics I added include the unit installed, in action with the light on, and finally a side view as I always appreciate full range motion. Fantastic replacement.

The fit and function of this brush head couldn't be much better. It's now my go-to attachment for everywhere in our house with hardwoods. The joint at the head is great for accessing areas with limited space, like under furniture.
