I thought I'd give it a two or three weeks of use before I even thought about leaving a review as most modern toilets seats aren't worth the plastic they're made out of. I was pleasantly surprised by this seat,not only does it have a really nice (if tediously slow) soft-close action, shock horror - It stays where it's meant to! ie... On the toilet bowl. It also has a nice, ergonomically designed seat that you kind of sit 'in' as opposed to 'on', making it incredibly comfortable to boot! So not only is it very simple to install, you have fittings for both screwing into the bowl from the top and also fittings for the traditional method of the plastic wing nut system from below. I chose the fitting from the top system and it was very simple (I love this type of fitting) and took literally minutes. The hardest part is lining up the pins to the seat itself but, again, this is easy peasy. At this price point, I can assure you that you will not find a better, easier to fit and more comfortable seat than this. It is nothing short of excellent and the plastic is a good thickness and nice and solid, unlike the majority of seats at this price point, which are usually very flimsy and start sliding about after a few days. It also has solid and chunky rubber stays on the underside othe seat that keep it bang in place. I would 100% recommend this seat for anybody looking to invest in a quality, well made, solid, nice looking soft-close seat to try this one. Trust me, you will not look back and your days of searching for the ultimate, bottom-end-priced toilet seat (excuse the unintended pun there!) will surely be over. I've dealt with some extremely badly behaved bog seats in my time but believe me, this one is so well behaved it is... a miracle!!!

The media could not be loaded. Size wise, this lid fitted perfectly on our toilet and as advertised.Unfortunately the hinges would start to bend every time the seat and/or the lid were closed.Quality wise, it is not a bad toilet seat, but is not good quality either. The plastic felt very fragile.The toilet seat had also poor stability and it would wobble on the hinges.Assembly took a bit of time, but it was straightforward.The soft close worked like a charm, really smooth.The quick release buttons worked well to remove the seat and was easy to place the seat back in place. The only issue was that one of the buttons wouldn't hook into the hinge right away and needed a little bit of pressure.Both the toilet and the fittings didn't had the best of quality and we felt it wouldn't last long until it would break. Unfortunately we returned the seat, the return process was smooth.Giving 4 stars as the manufacturer was supportive and tried to help out; quick reply to our emails and gave us options to help sort out the hinges problem. Really great customer support.

I recently purchased a toilet seat with a soft-close feature, expecting an upgrade in comfort and convenience. Unfortunately, my experience with this particular toilet seat has been rather underwhelming, leading me to rate it only two stars.First and foremost, the shape of the toilet seat is quite unusual. It does not align well with the shape of the toilet bowl, resulting in an awkward fit. This odd shape makes it uncomfortable to sit on and diminishes the overall aesthetic appeal of the bathroom. It's disappointing that the manufacturers did not consider the importance of a well-designed seat that complements the toilet bowl.Furthermore, the build quality of the seat is notably flimsy. Despite its appearance, the materials used feel cheap and lacking in durability. The seat lacks sturdiness and stability, which can be a significant inconvenience and cause concerns about its long-term durability. It's disheartening to invest in a product that doesn't feel solid or well-constructed.One of the advertised features of this toilet seat is the soft-close mechanism. While it does close slowly and prevent slamming, the lid only opens to a limited angle of 120 degrees. This restricted range of motion can be inconvenient, especially when it comes to cleaning or accessing hard-to-reach areas of the toilet bowl. The limitation of the lid's opening angle feels restrictive and impractical.Considering the price of the toilet seat, I find it to be quite expensive for what it offers. The quality of the materials and the overall design do not justify the higher price tag. It would have been more reasonable to expect better construction, a more comfortable shape, and a wider range of motion for the lid at this price point.In conclusion, this toilet seat with a soft-close feature falls short in various aspects. The peculiar shape, flimsy build quality, limited lid opening angle, and high price make it an unsatisfactory purchase. If you value comfort, durability, and a well-designed toilet seat, I recommend exploring alternative options that offer better construction and functionality.

Extremely sturdy. Comfortable. Easy to clean and assembled quickly and easily. Best toilet seat I’ve ever bought.
