Seems to work well
Plugged it in outside when I saw a few mosquitoes arrive. I believe it worked, although I did end up with 2 mosquito bites. Impossible to know if they happened before I had this plugged in. It seems like I didn't see many mosquitoes after I plugged it in, so I believe it works.

Meh
When mosquitos were bad here, we tried this out, and I honestly am not sure it did much. It didn't make things worse, so I'm calling it a wash. Other plug in deterrents or traps seem to do better in the upper north America area.

Don't recommend
Plugged in, nothing noticeable as far as smell. Next morning I see a huge stain, leaked over the carpet and created a stain I can't remove now. Worse off all still got bit overnight.

It does help, but not 100% effective
This uses meperfluthrin, which is mostly scent free. It does have a hint of citronella, even though it doesn't contain any citronella. Do not use indoors - only use outdoors, due to fumes. This is an effective deterrent, but only offers mild protection. It's not 100% effective.I have tried everything, since I'm a human mosquito magnet. But I also refuse to use DEET, especially around kids, so I've explored a lot of options. This device disorients mosquitoes, but does not create a complete barrier. The other type of devices use pads, which I tend to prefer. The pads offer a wider radius of protection, and you can add drops of essential oils to the pads. The downside of pads is that the devices cost more, the pads themselves cost more (and are basically disposable), and you pretty much have to use a new pad each day. This bottle, by contrast, lasts 100+ hours.I also mix my own bug sprays and foggers using a coconut oil base (which mosquitos don't like) and geraniol, citronella, and lemon eucalyptus. And, I like burning mosquito coils, citronella candles, and tiki torches.Top picks for DEET-free bug sprays include Coleman Skinsmart and Picaridin-based sprays (Repel and Thompson are my favorites). So this device isn't 100%, but when I combine it with other things I can achieve 99-100% protection.

Good that it's electronic
Just plug it in and forget it for a while. Takes care of itself and works great. So easy to use and quite effective. I won't be without it now and next summer too. Highly recommended.

lol
This did absolutely nothing. I don't know if there's not enough chemical in or what, but there was no noticeable difference whatsoever in our garage nor on our back porch. Don't waste your money.
