Aquach Double Wall Glass Cup 16oz 2pcs, Clear Insulated Coffee Drinking Glasses, Single Mouth/Double Body

I had a different insulated glass mug that I liked, but this is better for 2 reasons.One, it is tougher. The other mugs (I had 2) both broke from very minor bangs. This one feels a lot more solid.Two, the lip is thin (separate from the insulated section) so unlike most insulated glass mugs, you don't have the spilly sipping issue.My only issue is that it's harder to clean since the cup is narrow so I can't get a sponge down to the bottom. I have to use a bottle brush cleaner.I did a little science experiment and it keeps my coffee warm about twice as long as a ceramic mug. Oddly if I'm reheating something in it in the microwave, it doesn't heat as fast as it does in a ceramic mug. But I usually am adding hot liquid so this doesn't matter much to me. But if you heat liquids in it, it takes 2X as long in a microwave.

I love these glasses. They are perfect for my iced matcha lattes. No condensation and nice and tall! I researched a lot of glasses before buying these and have no regrets.

I have had several different brands of double-lined coffee mugs with no handles. They have all broken, explaining why several different brands and they frequently broke while someone was washing them. Not good. These cups have outlasted all of the rest. It could be because they are a heavier weight, but they are a bit larger at 16 ounces. I have found these cups to work for my iced drinks as well, something I never did with the other.

We love these glass cups. I love drinking out of a glass cup but hate the sweat. So easy to clean.

8oz mugs are nicely made and very lightweight. The low weight is the problem as far as keeping coffee warm compared to my previous 8oz diner duty heavy ceramic mug. I would reheat the coffin the mug and the ceramic would absorb enough heat the keep the coffee warm for a good while. As a bonus the thick mug will warm my hands as well. No scientific comparison has been made but it seems like the thin glass double wall mug doesn’t keep it warm as long and stays cool to the touch on the outside.

We use these with a large (almost 2") ice cubes (search for "FDDBI Big Square Ice Cube Maker") for whiskey or cocktails served on the rocks. Keeps the drink cold longer without the ice melting as quickly.The thin rim is MUCH more pleasant to use that another similar set of glasses that are thick, double-walled, right up to the lip.We always wash in the dishwasher, so far with no issues.

It's a very nice cup and plenty big and sturdy.

Condensation is annoying, but not an issue with these! Decently thick. Seem high end, but reasonable. Will be my go-to iced tea/iced coffee cups for the summer. Haven't tried hot so can't comment on that. That's what fun mugs are for!
