It's a nice, heavy-duty vise. But why lie about the Country or Origin?
Hey, I'm happy to see this was made in Taiwan, after all, they don't like the CCP either.But honestly, why openly lie about the country of origin?I'm definitely keeping the vise, sure, it's not exactly cheap and I would feel much better if this was actually Made in the USA.To be honest, I paid extra and purchased this vise BECAUSE it very clearly stated "Made in USA"It was shipped from Eastwood, the auto body/restoration folks and they should know better than misrepresenting a product in such a grandiose manner.Oh, Taiwan is very well known for producing a much higher quality product than China. Their quality control is generally excellent and many high quality vises, lathes and other tools are produced there.
