Nice tape to work with and looks nice too.

As long as you know what you're getting into, this is a good product. There is ZERO give or stretch with this tape, so you really need to make compromises and be forgiving of wrinkles and awkward overlapping on your bar curves. I used this on my aero bar extensions. I wasn't looking for 3mm thick cork or urethane, I wanted something "barely there" that provided grip no matter if dry or wet. I like the white tape. The dirt and marks are badges of accomplishment showing the bike gets used and isn't a wall hanger. If your bike needs to look showroom fresh all the time, cloth tape probably isn't for you.

Love this tape. It has a nice, strong adhesive backing that stays put. I like that it's made in America with eco-friendly dyes. Each roll covers only one side of the bar, so order two.No padding, of course, but if you're looking for padding consider cork tape, or consider adjusting your saddle/stem so there is less pressure on your hands. I've heard of people putting old inner tubes under the tape.This tape takes shellac very well. I've painted a ton of of amber shellac on mine (~10 layers over a few months), and achieved a really nice deep brown, Nice match for a Brooks saddle. Sounds weird for white tape, but trust me.

longer than others (other brands may require THREE!! rolls-esp on wider handlebars) AND just super consistent, THICK weave. put this on, add Bullseye shellac; and you are good to go for YEARS (adding shellac will just make it more gorgeous). Not as vibration damping as gel foam or cork but if you run 28s or 32s you won't miss them at all. Why aren't they sold in pairs to make life simpler? Some need only one roll for the drops (lower part) only of track bikes handlebars.

Similar in look and feel to Tressostar tape. About 2mm narrower and about a foot longer.

I wrapped on my guitar hangers to protect nitrocellulose finish on guitars...works except the ends don't stay put because the adhesive is weak.
