SANQIAHOME 2000ml stainless steel antique style teapot,with Infuser, thickened boiling kettle, lifting handle,Silver

This beautiful teakettle was bought for an antique house because it reminded me of the old copper kettle always sitting on my grandmother’s wood stove. It come with a removable tea infuser so can also be used to heat water.

Much better than I was anticipating. I purchased the Silver(DD) option and was prepared for the title of the item to be misleading where it stated 'kettle'. I figured that was just for buzzword search purposes, as it definitely looks like it would only be for use as a teapot, but not to boil water over a gas flame in. A review mentioned something to that effect as well, though i wasnt sure if it was for this item or one of the other options, so i figured i would just find out for myself. However, it is a thicker metal over-all than it looks to be in the pictures and I wasn't sure it would actually be stainless steel, but it seems to be and I have successfully boiled water on the stove with it, with no effects to the pot in any way. I'm very happy. The handle and lid get hot and require a pot holder to handle after heating, but I was prepared for and fine with that. It's not as large as some kettles, but I knew that as well, and it still works for two large cups of tea or three smaller cups. Three cheers for successfull form and function.

The media could not be loaded. Durable, reliable, good quality stainless steel. I love that it holds more than 3 cups of tea! I use it a lot, always on the stove warming up. So far so good. Easy to clean. Handle stays cool, the lid can get hot after a few minutes holding it, be very careful handling it.

I am only giving this product a 3. I bought it is a requested gift. So, I can’t say how good the actual kettle works, however, its box is a mess. I would return it and order a new one, but it is out-of-stock. Maybe, I got the last one with the smashed box that was the only one left. What about a discount at least?

I love this little teapot. I didn’t really buy it for making tea, but instead for displaying with my other copper teapots. It is well made and I thought it was a great value.

Beautiful piece. Vibrant copper color. But the first time we heated water in it ... well, look at what happened to the little knob at the top!!!Update, 4/16/2025: a little over two months later and my wife is telling me there's rust on the inside. Can I take back a star? Can I just give it zero stars??
