36V 7800mAh 280Wh Rechargeable Replacement Li-ion Battery for Xiaomi M365 Electric Scooter - XT30 Lithium Ion Compatible with BMS - 4 Wire

I do not own a Xiaomi anything. I chopped off the connectors on this and wired it up to a custom scooter that I built. It works just fine there. The battery is 36v, and so is the scooter.Here's the weird part of this. I can power that scooter three different ways. Out of curiosity, I used power wheels adapters to adapt Dewalt batteries for it. That works but the scooter goes about 3 miles and dies. The second method involves 3 12v 12a LiFePO4 batteries. That goes about 15 miles. The third method is this battery. Weirdly, it goes a little further than the LiFePO4 batteries, despite the lower capacity. I don't know if it just allows to me drain it further or what, but it works great. I should add that is with the controller set to 5, which is about 27mph. If I set it lower, all the batteries go quite a bit farther.It has been cycled quite a few times, and hasn't lost any discernable capacity. I'm quite happy with it.

This M365 battery pack is well designed and cost effective. The unit is constructed of 30 18650 battery cells arranged between two plastic rails with a clear, thick, shrink-wrapped enclosure. The seams are sealed with what looks like some sort of rubberized epoxy for water resistance. I think it would work well against general moisture and road conditions but I certainly would not want to submerge it. It seams rugged enough to handle conditions inside a battery compartment while in use.The pack is configured the same as the original with pig tailed plugs for main power, charging, and another for the onboard BMS. Then another plug on the opposite end for the tail light. Everything is pretty much plug and play.This unit seems to have a longer life than the original by about 15% and doesn’t take much longer to charge. It also does not appear to be any less powerful.This unit is almost 1/2 to 1/3 the price of most replacements out there, some of which have less impressive stats. It would appear to me that it is one of the most cost effective solutions out there.All-in-all, I think this should be a good replacement/addition/backup to the original battery.

This seems just like the original. Came with about a 50% charge, had no problems with it...so far. Overall construction seems good, and the price is pretty competitive. If something goes wrong with it and it stops charging or something, I'll stop back and update this.
