Accurate and surprisingly convenient!
Flysocks Golf Rangefinder has a very good value of money. The 1200-yard range is legit, and the slope function is a real game-changer. it gives you spot-on distance readings even when you’re dealing with elevation changes. Perfect for improving your shot selection. The built-in magnet is also a nice touch—just stick it to the golf cart, no need to keep digging it out of your bag. It’s super useful! And the magnet is very strong, so no risk the device falls on the ground. The rechargeable 1000mAh battery lasts a long time (I’ve played multiple rounds without needing to recharge), and the 7X magnification gives you a super clear view of the course. It’s also useful for seeing wild animals. My daughter use it often for it 😅

Improved my game!
For me the Flysocks Golf Rangefinder has really changed my game!My handicap is 18, at my local club, I know generally which club to play, IF I hit a good shot. Playing at other courses, I struggle with distances - especially on hilly courses. There is nothing more annoying when hitting a great shot and either overshooting or being short of the green.I bought the Flysocks Golf Rangefinder - the package arrived the day before I went on a short golf break - so I charged the device fully. Thankfully it is very simple to use.It has a few features on it including one for speed in KMH. The only setting I needed was level distance, distance including slope and height angle all on the one display - an example could be 170yd to the pin (Level) 185 yards slope with an angle of 15 degrees.Having not played the courses before, I have no previous scores to compare but my golf was more accurate and it gave me more confidence. The more I played, the better it got!The device is robust, with the integral magnet, I stuck it to the buggy and it didn’t fall off. It is a great device and a couple with my group are now getting one.

Great value for money product.
A really great device, easy to use with a handy clip on pouch that has an easy access option as well as a full zip. Perfect size and comparable to much more expensive products. Does the job brilliantly.

Unreliable and inaccurate
Used for golf as it has specific golf range finder functions. First use it was fine, spot on distances as cross referenced with other devices and known distances. Subsequent uses it has been entirely useless, not locking on target, giving wildly varying distances from 8 yards to 186 yards for a flagpole that was 130 yards away. Lock vibration function only seems to work for a few minutes once fully charged. extremely disappointed!

Laser doesn't read well in cold conditions
I was a real fan of this when I first purchased it. Comparing it with more expensive range finders and it was equal if not better on yardage measurements. However I've noticed that when the weather is cold the laser doesn't pick up correctly and no matter how far or close I am I'm getting 7 yards. Ive cleaned the lenses and charged the battery and everything. Maybe I have been unlucky and got a dud.

Why pay more?
Look beyond the silly name. The instruction leaflet states the product is made by Mileseey, who have been manufacturing value golf rangefinders for quite a few years now. I bought it because at the time of purchase it was the only rangefinder offering 7x magnification for under £80.The lens display is clear, and the Slope on/off indicator prominent enough to be seen by your fellow competitors. Display reaction time is a couple of seconds slower than the higher end brands, so if you expect to use it on many of your shots, eg because you play different courses, you may want to trade up. For my mid-handicap usuage, mostly inside 100 yards on my home course, it is ideal. Why pay more for something that does all that one needs from a golf rangefinder? The magnet is strong. The case is described as soft, but is a standard hard front-and-back case. It has a belt loop to accommodate a 35mm wide belt, and a sturdy metal karabiner to attach to a bag. The lanyard itself is good quality, but it is designed to attach to the rangefinder with a thin thread that looks far too thin for the purpose, so I have not tried it.Remember to charge the rangefinder before first use- the manual does not mention this. The C-charging port connector is included.
