These are great!!!
I have two 12-string capos and both needed new pads. I saw these and immediately jumped on them. I read a few reviews about how hard they were to replace. The was some truth to this. Taking to old pads off was simple enough: twist and pull. Putting on the new ones required a little more brain power. But the end result was well worth the thought process. To put them on, just start sliding them until they will slide no more. Now you will twist and push. The twist should be enough to get some movement. Then twist the other way and push. Keep doing this until the pad is on.Piece of cake. I am so glad I got these.

Works so far.
Shubb capos are the overall best. I’ve been playing 50 years, and I’ve tried just about every capo known to man, mostly out of curiosity.I’ve bought replacement sleeves for my Shubbs before. This time, the sleeves I received are exactly half the thickness of all the ones that have gone before them. On the guitars I’ve used the new sleeves on, they seem to work just fine so far. But with less rubber between the fret and the capo, I can see how, on certain guitars, I might have some minor problems.I don’t know if it was this batch, or if that’s how the sleeves are being made now. But I subtracted a star because of it.

Works for my 40 year old Shubb
I recently found my Shubb capo from the '70s. Still good as new except the rubber was hard and cracking. Searched for replacement rubber and came up with these. They may be cheaper elsewhere, but I went with the two pack from Amazon for convenience. Was a bit tough to install--I tried another reviewer's suggestion and wet the bar, much easier. Capo functions perfectly now. I like it better than the Planet Waves NS capo that I had been using since I misplaced the Shubb

It Will Do
There's kind of an "off" vibe about them and you may have to trim them down for the basic six string Shubbs from back in the day (still going strong) but I've used them during performances and practices and they work. I had no problem getting them on. I found out similar things about rubber windshield wiper blades. Silicon is the way to go.

Works perfectly
I purchased these to replace the original pad on the capo which was slipping offThey work great No slippage and better contact with string and fretboard I did have to trim them to fit since they were a bit long but that was no problem at all Very pleased with the replacement pads
