The taste just isn't quite there. It's not bad but tastes a little too dull. There are better tasting options for healthier sodas.

Pros - tastes lovely, nostalgic like old style cherry coke. Feels like a good quality product and worth paying for the gut benefits. Cons - it’s hardly fizzy! I am a fizz addict and this just isn’t carbonated enough to give me a kick, so unfortunately wouldn’t repurchase for that reason.

Not bad if you’re looking for a change but slightly odd taste that hasn’t made me want to re-order as much as I love both cherry and vanilla.Probably better for you than other drinks, but not overly impressed.

I love my drinks and I love to try different kinds but ideally I like them to be healthy.You will catch me squirrelling them at farmers markets, with a glazed look in the drinks isles at the supermarket or at food shows.I love that these drinks are good for your gut and by extension for your immune system.My first impression was that these drinks are completely guilt free.My second impression, which moved swiftly in the opposite direction was ‘how great they’d be with alcohol’!!!Speaking of alcohol, if your not partaking for whatever reason, whether it’s pregnancy, medication or health, these drinks from Fhirst make a fantastic substitute for a toast, picnic or dinner party and you’ll not feel left out and can also enjoy something a bit special.They contain both probiotics and prebiotics containing billions of living cultures and absolutely no sugar or sweeteners so it’s definitely a drink that I can feel good about.The flavours taste natural and not chemically, there’s a nice fizz on the tongue, and they contain fibre and zinc to further aid gut health.The first sip gives you cherry which I could smell straight away too and a little citrus, and then the sweetness of the vanilla rounds it out. It’s smooth and very balanced and there’s no aftertaste.It’s a refreshing drink but it still feels special.Surprisingly, you don’t have to keep them in the fridge to keep them stable and mine came with a 10 month shelf life!I’d recommend these living sodas, and am looking forward to trying their other flavours.They’re refreshingly delicious and are good for your gut. Given the quality I’d say they are fairly priced.I hope you find my review helpful.

FHIRST Living Soda - Cherry Vanilla - 12 x 330mlThese drinks come in the manufacturers branded box and contain 12 x 330ml cans with ring pull tops.Finally a healthy drink with enough fizz! Many drinks call themselves soda but certainly lack the sparkling fizz, however, this one has trumped them and even has a foamy top when pouring in to a glass. I usually drink straight from the can but I wanted to see the colour of this soda.The colour of the soda is just like the text colour on the can, clever design artist.A fizzy soda drink with 5g of fibre is really good, a fizzy drink with 5g of fibre that tastes nice and is thirst quenching is the cherry on the top.The drink tastes like cherry p.max and im very pleased about that as I was thinking the vanilla would make it taste like a plug in freshener.Love the benefits of this drink and the taste.

You get 12x330ml cans of probiotic/prebiotic soda.I love the idea of an healthier soda and the fact that these don’t contain refined sugar but sadly these just aren’t for me.My husband really likes the taste. I, on the other hand, just can’t get on with the strong aftertaste. While the initial cherry vanilla flavour is pleasant the lingering stevia taste towards the end sadly ruins it for me.

As someone who normally prefers their fizzy pop with full sugar and full flavour, I initially found this drink to be a bit bland and lacking punch, like one of those ‘water with a hint of’ drinks that is quite light on flavour. However I was then surprised to find that I really rather liked it, especially in this cherry vanilla flavour.I’m usually a fan of the cherry varieties of drinks, and this one reminds me a little of watered-down Cherry 7-UP, with a bit less fizz, and with some of the sugary sharpness taken away. The stevia as a sugar-alternative works OK, rather than great, but as I seem to have to get used to ‘sugar free’ drinks nowadays (not out of choice), I prefer this to some alternatives- except, that is, for actually using sugar, which I’d prefer. This drink doesn’t have the metallic aftertaste of some non-sugar drinks.But at a price which works out at almost two quid per 330ml can, it’s really hard to justify ordering a second box of this stuff. The probiotic aspect doesn’t add that much value in my opinion, and apart from that it’s more a case of what isn’t in this drink rather than what is in it. You’d be better off making your own mix of a sparkling water with a fruit or syrup.If the price goes down, a lot, I’d consider buying more of these, and the cherry vanilla flavour would be my first choice.
