Renata CR2477N Batteries - 3V Lithium Coin Cell 2477 Battery (4 Count)

I always use Renta brand lithium cells in all my devices!

Trying these as an alternative to the many others with failed reviews.This "N" style is fine for all devices that use top and bottom face contacts.Initial impressions are excellent. Individual blister packed on a strip with a 9/2027 best-by date code. Cells and packaging marked Made in Switzerland. First cell used reads 3.28 volts. Installed in a Govee H5074 thermometer/hygrometer. I'll update if battery life disappoints.Update: device stills reads "full" battery level after 18 months

These cr 2477 batteries are not standard physical size. The case is made in such a way that positive section does not terminate near the plane of the negative section. (look at the picture) As a result many devices will not work at all depending on where their positive/ negative contacts are. Probably excellent for use in watches.

The Renata CR2477N has a step in diameters, it is two different diameters. The step does not allow the battery to make contact with a side contact on my Drop scale. It is totally useless. I am now stuck with two useless batteries. I did not notice the step in diameters until I opened the battery packaging. No where in the description of the Renata CR2477N battery is a step down diameter mentioned, nor is a “N” variation noted.
