Good seat post
Seat post worked good only issue is outside cable housing wasn’t long enough so had to go to local bike shop get longer cable housing. Was installing on a Marlin 7

Works well! Worthwhile upgrade
Seems to work well so far. Fits well on an older bike without internal cable routing options. Little slow to rebound but reliable. Easy to install but the manual doesn't have good instructions. The online video install guide was much more helpful.

works perfect
easy to install. works every time. Adjusts back to ride height every time for the next uphill climb.

Easy to install, works well
This dropper seatpost was easy to install, the hardest part was routing cables. Once everything was set up, the seatpost worked very well. This is the perfect must-have addition for any mountain bike. Being able to lower the seat easily is a game changer for downhill riding, especially for rides that have multiple uphill and downhill sections.

Simple to use and install
Very good and sturdy dropper post. Works great for a bike without dropper post cutout. The external routing makes for easy install but does add some external wiring to show. So far, I have yet to notice any wobble or play when fully extended. Great value overall with smooth operation.

Kind Shock has been kind to me so far.
This is my fourth Kind Shock dropper post but my first externally routed model. So far, Kind Shock droppers have been good to me. My first dropper had a little left-to-right slop in the post but hasn't been a problem in the two years that I've been riding my trail bike. I built a second XC/trail bike for my wife and used a KS dropper as well - that one does stick a little bit but only at first when ridden. After dropping and extending a time or two, there's no issue... works as described. I just finished an enduro build for my buddy and he opted for the KS dropper as well. Time will tell how well his plays out. This is all to say, that I've had decent luck with the KS dropper so far and didn't hesitate to grab this one.Shortly after I finished my buddy's build today, I installed the external dropper on my DiamondBack hardtail. Again, it works exactly as expected. The installation was straightforward, although the instructions don't really paint a clear picture. If you have any experience with building bikes or are mechanically inclined, it shouldn't be a problem. Follow the illustrations on the little tag that's attached to the dropper when you pull it out of its bag.

Very cool!
I have a mountain bike I got to try out 'trials' riding. Pretty much just tricks on the bike. It's best to have the seat lowered when doing that kind of stuff. I do have a quick release seat post, so it isn't a big deal to adjust it. But with this, I can go from mountain biking, to tricks, and back to off roading without hopping off the bike! Install was pretty fun, the instructions weren't the best, but it's not that difficult to figure out. If you've done work on bikes, especially running cables, you should be able to handle the install.
